本节课是人教版八年级英语第九单元第四课时,Section B(2a-2e),2a-2e为本单元阅读板块,主要内容是通过电子邮件形式的阅读学习如何礼貌的发出、接受、 拒绝邀请。课前活动2a从学生的已有认知出发,要求列出各种已知聚会名称,为2b的阅读活动做准备。2b以电子邮件的形式,为即将回美国的Ms. Steen举办惊喜聚会一事,提供发出邀请、拒绝邀请和接受邀请的阅读文本。在语言知识上,阅读文本拓展了常用词汇:sad ,glad,surprised 和短语help out with,the party preparations,plan the games, invite...to,by Friday,look forward to等,不仅是对单元语言目标的进一步拓展,更为后面的书面表达提供了参考词汇。2c部分通过问题的形式加深对文本的理解和巩固。活动2d是语篇阅读知识的迁移和延伸,需要学生运用阅读语篇中的词汇完成一个聚会的邀请函。2e是课后拓展活动,是对阅读信息的迁移运用。让学生假设自己喜爱的老师即将离开,为此策划一个送别会的活动。学生需要通过回答问题,思考并运用所学知识表达自己的观点。我的教学思路是:从生活中的Party话题入手,设计任务,层层推进,激发学生继续学习的兴趣,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
课后反思
今天上课的课题是人教版八年级英语上册Unit 9 Can you come to my party?第四课时。
本课设计是在新课程理念指导下,结合教材重点、难点及英语学科特点,利用多媒体辅助教学,从视、听、说、写等方面使学生得到锻炼,在愉快、轻松的氛围中温故而知新,达到初步运用英语交际的能力。在上课前,我把班里学生分成了4人小组,准备在上课的时候进行小组合作学习和小组竞赛,这样来激发他们的上课热情。在教学过程中,师生互相尊重,互相赞赏,互相交流,互相启发,互相促进,互相学习,共同提高,在学习过程中,注意引导学生敢于动口,勤于思考,主动探究,通过多种形式的学习活动,在巩固已学知识的学习新知识的同时,创新精神和实践能力得到培养。
这节课的教学任务是以邀请函的形式教会孩子学会发出邀请,接受邀请和拒绝邀请。因此在课堂设计方面,我着重强调了学生的小组合作,让学生通过讨论来掌握本节课的重难点。其次,由于这节课的内容是贴近生活,所以孩子们的兴致很高,参与课堂的积极性也就很高。再者由于这节课又是一节阅读课,在孩子们掌握本节课的重难点的基础上,我还着重培养孩子的阅读能力,通过层层深入,由浅入深的推进课堂,报告环节实际上就是一种综合能力的展示与交流,这是在掌握好本节课基础知识后,对听、说、读、写等综合能力的最好的锻炼和提高。既是归纳又是概括;既是难点又是重点;既是小组的情况汇报,又是个人素质的良好体现;既是精彩之处又是点睛之处。总的来说,整堂课大部分学生表现积极主动,小组竞争激烈,学生掌握的还不错,教学目标的达成度较高。
可是我觉得我还有几点需要改进:
1.要学会课堂调控,随机应变。在时间安排上呈现前松后紧的状况,今后在教学设计时,需要更为合理地安排各环节的授课时间,以便于更好地完成教学活动,当时间不够时,应该及时做出相应的调整。
2.教师语言不是很丰富。其实这也是我自己的一个毛病。我们说当我们老师有足够多的:input(输入) 的时候,学生才能有:out put(输入)。这可能就需要我们老师平时多多进行阅读,丰富自己的课外知识。
3.最后的拓展提升环节,没有能充分调动学生的积极性,学生参与的热情不高,还需要在这方面下功夫。
总之,作为一名英语老师,我要及时转换自己的角色。我深切地认识到我们教师必须加强学习,组织好每一项课堂活动,把表演的机会给学生,让学生成为真正的“主角”,让学生时刻处在体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的活动中,努力建立平等和睦的师生关系,让学生喜欢自己的英语课。不断提高他们的学习能力,培养学生积极的情感态度,丰富学生学习生活,使学生的文化意识、生活意识等素养都得到全面发展和提高。
