教学反思
在英语教学和学习中,阅读一直占据着相当重要的地位。阅读不仅能帮助学生获取信息、开阔视野、丰富语言文化知识,还能促进听、说、写等其他语言能力积极地发展;而且,阅读在培养学生的思维能力、分析能力和理解能力等方面有着不可替代的作用。
而八年级起的英语教材中的阅读文章量加大,句型多样,时态语态变化多端。如何让有限的课堂时间成为学生提过阅读能力,提升阅读质量的手段之一,显得尤为重要。
我上课内容为人民教育出版社新目标教材八年级下册Unit5? What?were?you?doing?when?the?rainstorm?came?? 第四课时,即Do?you?remember?what?you?were?doing??这一语篇阅读内容的教学。
一、教学环节反思
(一)以finger game导入,并借助head一词引出remember,随之引导学生回忆熟悉的重大历史事实。进而引出“What were you doing when you heard the news?”这一话题。既是对前三课时内容的复习,又是接下来语篇阅读教学的预热。
(二)进行阅读任务之前检查学生预习效果,主要为新单词和短语,扫除学生在阅读文章时的障碍。
?(三)处理文章内容时,设计skimming,scanning,careful reading三大环节。根据其本身的难易程度考虑是通篇把握文章还是分段理解,在引导同学归纳总结主要内容、中心思想的时候适当设置一些问题和表格,要求同学们在阅读的过程中完成。问题的设计可从易到难,要兼顾后进生的能力,增加课堂参与面。?
(四)读后活动的设置方面,设置了make a report的小组合作活动;同时设置try to retell环节使学生对原文内容达到由输入到输出的升华程度。
二、教学效果反思
本节课我主要采用小组合作的形式。课堂上小组共同阅读,合作学习,使学生在平等、协作、交流、讨论中,都有发言的机会、表现的机会、成功的机会。阅读活动中,小组内先读,先练说,每个学生都参与了活动。学生能选择一个水平适当的角色参与交流和探讨,在学习活动中互相帮助,共同提高,知识和情感都得到发展。激发全体学生产生健康、积极向上的心理,更能保持和提高学生学习英语的兴趣,对提高阅读和交际能力起着积极的推动作用。
当然,我在本节阅读教学课中,也有许多值得改进之处。如在部分学生活动环节,教师的指导语不够清晰明确,导致学生在活动开始会出现片刻地茫然。在个别环节没有为学生建立完善的思维导图,没有为学生的英语思维及时引导。这些也是一个教师的课堂教学基本功,我还需要不断的学习和提升,提炼自己的语言,为学生英语思维和语言的发展把好脉搏。
