一、教材的地位及作用
本单元是人教版八年级(上)第七单元,其主题是围绕“预测未来”这一话题,帮助学生学习语法项目——一般将来时。再通过听、说、读、写等训练,让学生熟练掌握语言知识和技能,对学生三种时态的运用能力进行综合的训练,让学生通过活动对自己遣词造句能力及语言综合能力进行自我评价。由于在上一单元中已经学习过be going to...的用法,所以这部分具有承上启下的作用;是对一般将来时态学习的延伸。 本课时内容是Section B 1a-1e,3a-3c,,本节课既有听说训练又有读写练习。1a-1e围绕听力练习展开,并进一步拓展对话练习,3a-3c围绕阅读展开,并进一步拓展写作。在语法上,本课时重点是区别一般现在时态,一般过去时态和一般将来时态,使学生能在不同语境下选择恰当的时态表达。
本节课涉及英语中的三种重要时态,其成败将对学生对英语的学习兴趣方面产生深远的影响,并且本节教材所涉及内容在中考中占有相当重要的地位。
二、本课时教学目标设计
英语课程标准规定,要使学生通过听,说,读,写的训练,获得英语基础知识和运用语言进行交际的能力。依据这一要求,我制定了以下教学目标:
知识目标与能力目标:
1.Consolidate future with will .(巩固will引导的一般将来时)
2. Learn to use different tenses of verbs to talk about the life in the past, now and in the future.(学习用不同的时态来描述过去、现在和将来)
情感态度价值观目标:
在学习活动中,通过对过去,现在和未来事情的描述,激发学生对未来的憧憬和对现在美好时光的珍惜。
学习重点:
区别一般现在时态,一般过去时态和一般将来时态。
学习难点:
在不同语境下选择恰当的时态表达。

本节课是人教版八年级上册Unit 7 Will people have robots? Period 4内容是section B 1a-1e,3a-3c,,本节课既有听说训练又有读写练习。
良好的开头对一堂课的成功与否,起着关键的作用。我以“时光隧道”(Time Tunnel)导入, If you have a chance to pass through time tunnel, “when” do you want to arrive? 穿越话题的提问充分调动了学生兴趣。用学生们感兴趣的穿越话题导入新课,使学生的注意力在最短的时间里被激活。紧接着出示本 节课目标,自然有效。
本堂课,我采用多种教学方法呈现与操练句型。每次句型练习,都较新颖而又自然,而且具有生活化。我利用图片,学生照片等作为教学资源创设操练英语的情景,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。
教学活动的设计丰富多彩,有效,训练方式多样,听说读写全面提升,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,双人活动,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。为了巩固本课的内容,我精心设计了多个活动:游戏,小组竞赛等,内容非常丰富不但使单词、句型的操练面广,练习次数多,而且还调动了每一个学生的参与热情,将热闹的形式与有效的语言实践有机结合。
反思本节课,还有许多不足之处。例如教师语言不是很丰富,我深知当我们老师有足够多的input(输入)的时候,学生才能有output(输入),所以在以后的教学中我会增加阅读,丰富自己的课外知识,提高自己的口语表达能力。除此之外,写作环节处理的有些仓促,给更多同学展示的机会或许能暴露更多问题,更有利于学生写作水平的提高。
