(4). Compare facts about these two animals.

一、教材的地位与作用:
本课时是人教版八年级英语下册第七单元“What’s the highest mountain in the world”,本单元中心话题是谈论有关地理和自然,进一步学习学习形容词和副词的比较级和最高级的用法,学会用形容词和副词的比较级和最高级来谈论两个地点或对两个动物的特征进行比较 。通过学习,让学生了解大自然的相关特征,热爱保护大自然,认识到濒危动物的生存现状,以及环保的迫切性,在日常生活中从自我做起,做一个环保行动者。本课时为这一单元的Section B部分第一课时.
二、 内容结构:
本课时分为1a-1d四个环节,分别从口语表达, 听力技巧的学习与运用,文本内容的掌握,综合能力提升等方面对学生进行培养与训练。
三、教学目标:

我认为本节课的可取之处:
1.在比较大象和熊猫两种动物时,我不是让学生仅仅用课本上提供的信息分别描述一下,而且还让学生进行了pairwork,一问一答进行对话,这样不仅对动物的体态、外观做了具体数据的表达,而且还复习了英语中如何表达长宽高的句型,学生也比较感兴趣。
2.在目标语言初步接触感知后,先进行简单的认读和操练,然后再进行深入的整编,让学有余力的同学可以有拓展和发挥的空间,同时也能让学生更好的理解和掌握目标语言的真实意义和用法,正真做到让学生体验内化语言的过程。
3.根据学生实际需要,在进行听力练习时,及时教授给学生听力技巧,使学生顺利完成听力任务,提高了听的能力。
不足之处:
1.在教学内容的设计上卡的过死,层次不够丰富,对于学有余力的同学而言,吃得不够饱。对于目标语言的拓展不够,局限性过强。课堂语言输入欠生动丰富。急于完成既定的教学任务,缺少对学生的正确引导和语言的真实深入的交流。
2.对于学困生不能顺利完成对话内容时,没有做出正确的引导和帮助,从而给学生带来了沮丧感。对于能顺利完成教学环节任务的学生,评价也不够到位,鼓励性不够强,评价过于笼统。对于学生启发不够。
3.课堂语言指令不够清楚,语言啰嗦,缺少真实性和有效性。
课后感悟
作为教师,要不断地学习和探索才能有足够的能力满足学生求知的欲望。而不是一味的抱怨学生的愚笨或教材不适用,教师应当反思自己的教学环节和教学思路、观点是否需要改进,是否符合学生的需求,以一丝不苟、谦虚谨慎的态度对待每一个教学细节。教师要懂得换位思考,多站在学生的角度上,放下为人师的架子,做一个温和而谦逊的引领者和帮助者。?????????????
教师在课堂中要善于机智地运用课堂学生资源,灵活地创设教学语境,启发学生思维。通过精心的教学设计,能幽默睿智地指引学生探究语言知识点,同时不断地激励学生通过目标语言的示例感知、体验、提炼、归纳、总结语言知识。在一堂听说课中,让学生乐意开口、激起主动交流的欲望。教师且能真正实践?“以学生为主体”的教学思想。教师要淡化每个任务的教学痕迹,春风化雨,润物无声,用活泼幽默的评价语言构建师生最自然、和谐、真实的交流互动,实现课堂教学效果的最大化。
