　Hip-hop: （狭义）包括MC、DJ、Dance（舞蹈，特指hip-hop舞，也称街舞）和Graffiti（涂鸦）等四个主要方面，街球、beatbox等为补充。HIP HOP是源自美国纽约的黑人社区BRONX，他们将生活上的娱乐发展成为现今多样的HIP - HOP 文化，发挥黑人独有的特质，如节奏感及歌声进而舒缓情绪和消遣。因带有乐观开朗的特质，逐渐慢慢的在全美蔓延开来，进而扩散到全世界。 　
　B.P.M约在90-110拍，中文翻译为嘻哈。 Hip-Hop前生是Rap和一点点的R&B，再加上各种磨片的音效声，属于80年代开始年轻人爱玩的音乐。Hip-Hop舞从字面上来看Hip是臀部；Hop是单脚跳，Hip-Hop则是轻扭摆臀，可以看出它的出处。Hip-Hop涵有有Rap的饶舌和较R&B复杂的节奏以及电唱机的音效，另外在墙上涂鸦也是Hip-Hop文化的延伸。
