一、【教材分析】
1. 掌握以下词汇:
cross, river, many, village , between, between...and..., bridge, boat, ropeway, year, afraid, like, villager, leave, dream, true, come true.
2. 掌握并会运用下列重要短语和句型:
1) 短语:between...and..., come true, go on a ropeway to cross the river, run too quickly, for many students, one 11-year-old boy, be afraid, be like, many of the students, like this
2) 句型:
There is a very big river between their school and the village.
For many students,it’s easy to get to school.
Can their dream come true?
3.情感目标:
通过讨论如何帮助贫困山区的孩子,让学生珍惜如今的学习的机会,学会感恩。
二、【教学流程】
一、导入
1.warming-up
通过观看how do you get to school?视频,询问学生“how do you get to school?
2. 通过学生的回答,引出“for us, it is very easy to get to school”,but for the students in a small village in China, is it easy, too? Now let’s watch another vedio, and think about it. 播放山区孩子坐索道去上学的视频。
3.播放完毕后,通过视频引出文章的图片,从而引出文章。
二、阅读训练
1.先通过文章的题目和图片,猜测how do they get to school? 猜测完毕后,让学生快速浏览文章,检查猜测是否正确。
2. fast reading: 1. How do the students in the village go to school?
2.Does the boy like his school? Why?
3. What is the villagers’ dream?
3.再次跟录音阅读文章,大声阅读。完成练习。
1. For the students in the village, it is ________ to get to school.
2. They have to cross a very _________ river between their school and the village.
3. They cannot go by boat because the river runs too _________.
4. It is not easy to cross the river on a ropeway, but the boy is not ________.
5. The students and villagers want to have a bridge. Can their dream come ______?

三、拓展延伸
观看贫困山区孩子上学的照片然后小组讨论,what can we do to help the poor children?
根据讨论结果,教师总结,教育学生要珍惜来之不易的学习机会。

课后反思
在课堂中营造一种平等、民主、和谐、宽松的氛围,是我一惯不懈追求,本节课在非常轻松、愉跃的气氛下完成了教学任务,实现了教学目标,无论是课前的“warm up”(询问孩子们how do you get to school?)还是后边的讨论对贫困山区孩子的帮助(What can we do to help the poor children?)都使学生得到了充分的展示机会,也训练了他们的表达能力,同时教育了孩子在今后生活中更珍惜来之不易的学习机会。
最后的Homework我让学生根据课文2d写一篇小作文,如果你是亮亮,给新闻或者当地政府写一封信寻求帮助。知识点提示有:What’s your name? Where do you live? How do you get to school? Why do you go to school like this? What’s your dream? 既能及时的复习本课时,又能达到学以致用的目的,也让他们体验到了学习成功的快乐。
但是在整个活动过程中为了完成教学任务,一些重要的单词或者句型没有过多训练和解释,在以后教学中,应在句子中呈现单词,在句子中让学生体会一些重要句型。
在今后的英语教学中,我将继续努力学习,探询更为有效的英语教学方法,研究英语课程标准,设计针对性强的、内容丰富的课堂教学,努力做得更好。???
