Step 1 Lead-in
1. Talk about four cities in New York, using some pictures.
2. Present some new words by guessing games,” Who is he/she?”
(be made up of, ruler, England, European, queen, the united kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Island)
Step 2 Pre-writing
1. Free talk: discuss how to introduce a country
(1) About the country: its location, capital, history, big or small
(2) Places to go and things to do: places of interest, (climb the hill, enjoy the view, eat the delicious food.)
(3) Others : language ,the best time to visit, weather, money.
(We can also talk about its culture, festivals, people, famous colleges and food.)
2. Read the passage in part B, tell the main idea of each paragraph and learn how to introduce a country

本课是一节写作课,主要需要解决的问题是介绍一个国家,由于国家范围比较大,为了让学生写的有条理性,同时培养学生的逻辑思维能力,在授课时我对教学环节做了如下安排:(1)首先这不是阅读课,我通过猜谜游戏把生词快速展示了一下. 但这节课地名多,难读,所以我提前让学生预习这些生词,以便提高课堂效率.(2)通过复习美国的景点,复习一些描写景点的表达方式,激活学生的思维.(3)在谈论一个国家某方面时, 学生踊跃参加,学生通过自己的思考谈到有关国家的很多方面,从而我意思到我们应该相信学生.因此我把重点放在引导学生自己归纳段落上,从而培养学生的条理性.(4)和学生一起欣赏介绍英国的文章,再进一步讨论如何介绍中国.在欣赏介绍英国的文章时,学生齐声朗读后归纳段落大意,效果不是很好,学生没有足够思考的空间.以后这种环节要加以改进。
这样学生以熟悉的内容为素材,在过程写作引领的基础上,有内容可写,有结构可用。
通过试上和正式上课,请同行提意见,我有了很多收获。在与同行交流,思维碰撞的过程中,我觉得其实课可以上得更好,更完善,更优化!
