Module 1 Routines and Dates
1、 教学内容分析
Module 1的Topic是Routines And Dates,它包括Unit 1 What is our life like 和Unit 2 How many terms do you have in a school year 主要谈论日常生活和月份日期等不同的话题,以及在Unit3 Let’s go further中附加更多有关festival的单词,并让学生进一步学习巩固如何去谈论日常生活。。本单元主要是让学生进一步学习一般现在时第三人称单数,以及掌握十二月份,日期和序数词的读法用法。同时通过中外学生routine的对比让学生了解到文化差异,开阔了他们的眼界,也希望学生学会安排自己的生活,养成珍惜时间的好习惯。
2、 教学对象分析
在本单元出现的关于谈论日常生活和月份日期等句型,学生对这些日常生活中常用的句型颇感兴趣。然而对于第三人称单数的学习,学生们在四年级虽然已经接触过,但学习起来还会有一定的难度。加上月份和序数词是第一次接触,也会有一点困难,那么教师在加强语言操练的过程中,就要给予学生们大量的信息输入,帮助他们解决难点和实际困难, 这样学生才能有更多的输出,使教学效果达到更好。
3、 教学目标
1. 语言知识:
Words: all the words of Module 1
Structures:
He sometimes eats noodles.
Does he often do some reading on Sunday
What time does school start
How often does he watch TV
When does the autumn term start
2. 语言技能
Can talk about one’s daily routines.
Can talk about the differences between the arrangements of two schools.
How to get information of the people you want to know.
3.情感态度
1)通过开展与学生生活密切相关的学习活动,进一步培养学生的学习兴趣。
2)通过各种积极的评价调动学生的积极性,培养大胆开口、勇于实践的学习习惯。
3)通过运用情景、媒体和活动等教学方式让学生主动获取信息。
4.学习策略:
1)能积极与他人合作,共同完成任务。
2)能对所学习内容主动练习和实践。
3)能积极运用所学的知识谈论日常生活。
5.文化意识
了解外国学生的生活习惯.

重点: 运用本课的单词,句型去谈论日常生活。一般现在时的第三人称单数。

Sentence Structure: Would you like to go to school with Yongxian tomorrow
Yes, that would be fun.

Mum always makes noodles.
Does he often do some reading on Sunday

Children can read and understand the dialogue.
四、 Teaching procedure
(一) Leading-in
1. Sing Along (listen, try to sing the song after the tape and do the actions to warm up)
2. Free talk
(1) What day is today It’s … What day is tomorrow Tomorrow is …
Teach the new word tomorrow
(2) Talk about their daily life of new school term
What time does your school start At 8:30.
Teach the new word start (it means begin)
What do you usually do after class I usually …. And sometimes I …
How often do you … I usually / sometimes…
T help children to answer this question and give them two more examples, then ask children to guess the meaning of how often.
(二)Pre-task
1. Show more the adverbs of frequency never and always and give them a guide to remember the words.
2. Play a game to practice the adverbs of frequency
T says out the first letter of the new words, and then Children read the words out.
3. Have a competition game among four groups: which group can make more sentences with the adverbs of frequency to introduce their family member’s daily life just like my mum often goes shopping. (Pay more attention to the form of V-s)
(三)While-task
1. Tell children the background of the dialogue. Two children from England visit Yongxian. They talk about their daily routines. But the daily routines in England are different from that in China. Ask children to listen to the dialogue and find the differences.
2. Listen to the first part of the dialogue and answer the two questions following
Q1: How many persons are there in the dialogue
Q2: Who are they
3. Listen to the second part of the dialogue and answer the three questions following
Q1: What time does Rose get up
Q2: What time does Yongxian get up
Q3: What time does Tom get up
4. Ask children to find the first difference
5. Listen to the third part of the dialogue and answer the three questions following
Q1: How often does Rose eat noodles
Q2: How often does Yongxian eat noodles
Q3: How often does Tom eat noodles
6. Ask children to find the second difference
7. Listen to the third part of the dialogue and answer the four questions following
Q1: When does Rose Tom go shopping
Q2: When do Yongxian and his mother go shopping
Q3: When/What time does Youngxian go to bed
Q4: When/What time does Tom go to bed
8. Ask children to find the second third and the fourth difference
9. Read the dialogue after the tape
10. Read the dialogue in pairs
11. Read the dialogue the whole class
(四) Post-task
Get children to act out one part of the dialogue.
(五) Homework
1. Copy the new dialogue once
2. Listen to and read the new words and the new dialogue for 20 minutes

New: How often do you watch TV, Li Hong I watch TV every evening.
How often does Li Hong watch TV He watches TV every evening.

四、Teaching procedure
(一) Revision
1. Leading-in
(1) Sing a song : Skip to my Lou
(2) Chant the Rhyme
(3) Free talk
Talk with children about their summer holiday routines with the old structures above.
2. Pre-task
Get children to talk about their and their fathers’ summer holiday routines each other with the old structures.
3. While-task
Do Exercise 2 on P5
4. Post-task
Check the answers
Ask children to pay attention to the form of V-s both in oral and writing
(二) Presentation
1. Pre-task
Give children a life example to help them to understand the meaning of new structures and the adverbs of frequency.
2. While-task
(1) Do Exercise 1
Get children to guess the order of adverbs of frequency and then tell them the correct one.
(2) Play the game of Fun With Language
How often does the boy pay the computer game He often plays the computer game.
3. Post-task
Show their games
(三) Consolidation
1. Pre-task
(1) Show the pictures to teach the new words and practice them with actions
(2) Play a word game
T say out a syllable, and then children read the word out
(3) Play another game—Clap the Pictures Quickly
2. While-task
Practice the new structures with the new words and phrases
T is model first then children do it themselves and get children to pay attention to the form of V-s
