No, I can’t.Daily Express习惯用语:Everyone has his own gift.Grammar语法:Can 肯定陈述句和否定陈述句,一般疑问句及其回答,带有what 的特殊疑问句及其回答。Phonetic语音:字母组合al, ay, ar, air在单词中的发音。2. Language skill语言技能:能用can表达自己或者别人能做或者是不能做的事情。3. Affect 情感态度:懂得世界上无论是动物还是人类,他们都有各自的长处和短处,要学会欣赏别人的长处,包容别人的短处。4.Learning Strategies学习策略:学会利用多媒体。5.Culture Awareness文化意识:学习动物与人的能力的不同

第一课时
教学过程 Unit 4 What Can They Do Dialogue 一、课前热身1. Sing a song: Andy Can Swing(英语口语第一册Unit 6).2. Chant.(英语口语第三册)Lucy, Lucy, what can you do I can dance. What about you I can’t dance, but I can e over and have a look.(可用jump, run, swim, fly, sing等替换划线部分单词)二、复习导入1.Free talk.What can you do Can you… Yes, I can. / No, I can’t. 2.导入课题Everyone has his own gift. Different people are good at different things. Today let’s learn Unit 4 What Can They Do 3.复习部分已学动物名称及动词词组。A game: Guess what I am 玩法:请一学生到黑板前,看完教师的图片或单词后模仿该动物的动作及声音,其他同学猜。What animal is it What can it do Can it… Yes, it can. /No, it can’t. 三、呈现与操练1.自然承接上游戏,让学生做动作,模仿动物声音,呈现并学习下列单词:kangaroo, frog, turtle, monkey. (也可自制课件,播放来自动物世界的动物图片、视频或音频,学生观看完后说出看到的动物名称。)2.教师问学生:What can kangaroos/frogs/turtles/monkeys do Can kangaroos /frogs/turtles/monkeys swim Can kangaroos/frogs/turtles/monkeys jump 引导学生讨论,介绍动物各自的本领,呈现下列句型,学习新词。Kangaroos can jump far, but they can’t swim.Frogs can jump and swim, but they can’t fly.Monkeys can climb trees, but they can’t write.Turtles can swim, but they can’t climb the hill.(划线部分单词为新单词,句型不同成份用不同颜色,使学生能更清楚地看出…can …, but … can’t...句型)3.教师总结,引出:Everyone has his own gift.(此句宜整句学习,学生明白句意即可,对everyone的单数意义稍加解释。)4、A game: 猜动物教师请一学生到黑板前,从教师手中抽一张动物图片,其他同学向他提问,根据回答把动物猜出来, 猜对后,向全班展示图片。如:
What can they do They can jump.Can they run No. They can’t run, but they can swim.Is it a frog Yes, it is.(该游戏深受学生喜爱,即操练了新知识,又能活跃课堂气氛,学生在玩中学。)5.呈现并学习课文。1)用金太阳课件整体呈现课文。2)就课文内容提问,检查学生对课文的理解。A. What does “Everyone has his own gift.” mean (此时教师可渗透情感教育,让学生明白各有所长,取长补短之道理。)四、巩固与发展1.以全班、小组或分角色等多种形式听、读、演课文。2.根据课文内容填空:The kangaroo ____ jump very high and very ____, but it _____ swim. The ____ can swim fast, but it can’t jump very high. The turtle ___ swim, but it ____jump. The bird can_____ , but it ___swim. The boy ___ swim and run. Everyone ___ his ____ gift. (Keys: can, far, can’t, frog, can, can’t, fly can’t, can, has, own)3. Do exercise 2, 3, 4 in Page 17.4.再次呈现动物图片或视频,让学生自选一动物,小组仿照课文自编对话并表演。5.结合学生表演开展评价。五、布置作业1.抄写活动手册生词并家听。2.听录音,读、背、演课文。3.选做:查找自己喜爱的动物资料,用所学句子介绍其本领。如:This is a …. It’s my favorite animal. 教学过程 教学内容:Unit 4 Sing Along and Work With Language一、课前热身:1.听写竞赛:听老师读,选词填空。 I can do , better than you.Anything you can do, I can do than you.I can swim , faster than you.Anywhere you can swim. I can swim than you.I can run , quicker than you.Anywhere you can run, I can run than you.I can jump , higher than you.Anywhere you can jump, I can jump than you.(Keys: A C B E A D B F)2.用金太阳课件播放歌曲,学生边做动作边唱。二、复习导入1.表演模仿课文Unit 4 的自编对话。2.表扬学生,导入课题。You have done an excellent job. Today we are going to learn more about abilities. Let’s learn Unit 4 Work With Language. 三、呈现与操练1.师生对话,提问学生能和不能做的事情。T: What can you do, Jack P: I can run.T: Can you run fast P: Yes, I can.T: Very good. Please come here and run fast.T:(对全班) Jack can run fast. Look, he is running fast.呈现… can do …. Look, he/she is doing …句型,不同成份用不同颜色,使学生能更清楚地看出。2.重复若干次,使黑板上有更多句子,引导学生归纳。表示能力: 情态动词can+V原形现在进行时: Be + V-ing3.操练仿照例子,做书P19 Work With Language。采用小组竞赛形式,先小组讨论,就图片内容造句。然后请一同学出来,模仿图片做动作,小组其他同学口头造句。四、发展性操练方案一:才艺表演
让学生自编歌词,歌词必须有can+V 及 be+V-ing句型,根据sing along 曲调,做动作表演。教师可给学生一例子,如:I can sing anytime, better than you.Listen, I’m singing. Listen, I am singing.Anytime I can sing, I can sing better than you.方案二:梦想大舞台向同学介绍自己的特长及理想职业,并展示自己的特长。如:I am Jack. I can sing well. I want to be a singer when I grow up. Listen, I’m singing…….五、做活动手册P14 Ex. 3六、布置作业1.完成活动手册P14 Ex. 42.画画,展示家庭成员的特长,准备口头汇报。
