询问职业与回答
本单元围绕“职业”这个话题展开,通过这个单元的学习,我们学会了如何表达他人的职业,但是没有学习如何询问他人的职业。现在我们就来学习如何询问他人的职业以及如何回答。
1. What’s your job? 你的职业是什么?
I’m a doctor. 我是一名医生。
2. What’s his job? 他的职业是什么?
He is a cook. 他是一名厨师。
3. What’s your sister’s job? 你姐姐的职业是什么?
She is a waitress. 她是一名服务员。
此外,我们还可以用以下方式:
1. Excuse me, what do you do? 请问你是干什么的?
I’m a worker. 我是一名工人。
2. What is he, do you know? 你知道他是干什么的吗?
He’s a policeman, I think. 我想他是一名警察。
3. What’s her occupation? 她的职业是什么?
She’s a driver. 她是一名司机。
需要提醒大家的是,与中文不同,若想用英文询问两个及两个以上人物的职业,需要用复数形式来表达。这其中包括be动词改用are、job改为jobs、代词使用they/their以及相应的职业名词。如:
1. What are their jobs? 他们的职业是什么?
They are farmers. 他们是农民。
2. What are your parents’ jobs? 你父母的职业是什么?
My father is a teacher. My mother is a nurse.
我爸爸是一名教师。我妈妈是一名护士。
