（一）课标分析
英语课标对于八年级的学生提出了以下阅读要求：

（二）教材分析
本部分在Section A的基础上，通过对自然和文化的比较过渡到了动物这一话题。本部分呈现了熊猫以及熊猫研究基地相关的内容，通过听、说、读、写等活动，引导学生学习更多了解大熊猫等濒危动物，培养保护动物的意识，要求学生想出更多方法帮助拯救大熊猫，启发学生思考。21世纪教育网版权所有
