(一)课标分析
英语课标对于八年级的学生提出了以下阅读要求:
1、能找出文章中的主题,理解故事的情节。
2、能根据不同的阅读目的运用简单的阅读策略获取信息。
3、能理解段落中各句子之间的逻辑关系。
(二)教材分析
本部分在Section A的基础上,通过对自然和文化的比较过渡到了动物这一话题。本部分呈现了熊猫以及熊猫研究基地相关的内容,通过听、说、读、写等活动,引导学生学习更多了解大熊猫等濒危动物,培养保护动物的意识,要求学生想出更多方法帮助拯救大熊猫,启发学生思考。21世纪教育网版权所有

Step 1:warming up (课前热身并导入本节课话题)
大屏幕显示图片,谈论我们的国宝—大熊猫,调动学生参与话题讨论的热情。
