一、教学目标：
1. 知识与能力：
通过运用月份与序数词，谈论自己、同学以及父母家人的生日，学习巩固日期与年龄的询问与表达。
2. 过程与方法：
运用Pairwork和Groupwork形式，进行“询问和谈论日期”的口语交际活动；采用Survey，
Report的方式，进行目标词汇的语言输出训练；利用幻灯片、音频、视频等辅助课堂教学。
3. 情感态度价值观：
通过互相询问彼此的生日，增进同学间的了解和友情；通过询问父母家人的生日，增进对父母的了解和感情，对学生进行尊敬父母，关心长辈的教育。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
1）序数词的构成和使用以及日期的表达法。
2）when引导的特殊疑问句对生日的询问和应答，用how对年龄的询问及其应答。

部分特殊变化的序数词的构成以及对生日的询问和应答。
三、教学过程
Step1 leading in
1 Show some photos with the music “Happy birthday to you”, then let students say the boy’s name.
2 Teacher says: Yes, you are right. He is my son. His birthday is on September ninth. I’m celebrating the tenth birthday for him with my family. And I have a big happy family. Do you want to know my family members?
(设计意图：本次课程录制使用的是自己所教过的学生，他们对老师是有所了解的，同时又由于孩子们与生俱来的好奇心，他们又想更多的了解老师。所以，我使用家人为儿子庆祝10岁生日的一组照片，并配以《Happy birthday to you》音乐，导入新课，既让学生身临其境的体会这一温馨的氛围，又激起学生了他们的好奇心，同时为下一步使用目标语言谈论家人的信息做好铺垫。)

1 由答语twelve为岁数，可知第一空应用how old来询问岁数。
2由上句所问为“you你”，因此回答应用“I 我”, 可知第二空填I’m。
3第三四两句为对生日的日期提问, 可知第三空填疑问词when，第四空填birthday。
4第五空后面为具体的日期，故用介词on；第六空后面只有月份，故用介词in。
（设计意图：本部分设计旨在通过处理课本3a,3b的练习，教会学生一些分析问题和解决问题的方法。）

关于教材内容的研究
本单元是Go for it七年级上册第八单元"When is your birthday?"。本单元的核心话题是谈论人的出生日期,主要学习序数词的构成以及运用序数词表示日期的方法；学会运用 when 引导的特殊疑问句询问日期；学习名词所有格 ( 's 所有格 ) 的构成和使用。 Section A 是本单元的重点部分，也是核心教学内容，为口语练习课，主要学习日期的询问与表达；通过谈论自己、同学以及父母家人的生日，理解生日更多的含义。它上承Unit 7 的数字教学，下接Section B与以后有关日期的英语教学。因此，本部分是前后知识的载体，在本单元以及今后的英语学习中都占重要的地位。Section B的主要内容是复习、巩固"日期的询问和应答"；学会谈论自己、同学以及父母家人的生日；并学会自己安排作息时间。这一部分主要学习如何安排课内外的一些活动，非常贴近学生的学习生活。通过互相询问课内外活动的安排日程，不仅可以增进同学之间的了解和友情，而且还能学会合理地安排自己的作息时间，养成有规律地生活、学习的好习惯。Self check部分引导学生复习、巩固"询问和谈论日期"的目标语言并运用所学知识安排活动。
我所设计的内容为本单元的第二课时（Grammar Focus-3a），本课时通过谈论自己、同学以及父母家人的生日，继续运用月份与序数词，学习巩固日期与年龄的询问与表达。学生通过互相询问彼此的生日，可以增进同学间的了解和友情；通过询问父母家人的生日，也可以增进对父母的了解和感情，更好的对学生进行尊敬父母，关心长辈的教育。基于这样的教学目标，我是这样处理本课时的教学内容的：首先，配以《祝你生日快乐》的音乐声，展示我们全家人为儿子庆祝生日的一组照片，导入新课；接着，展示一组我的家人日常生活照，向学生介绍家人的有关信息--生日（主要是2,5,8,9,20等几个特殊变化的序数词）与年龄，出示本节课的第一个任务：看图片听介绍，运用所给句型（Grammar Focus里的句型），小组交流所听到的老师家庭成员信息，完成信息表并按照年龄从小到大排序；然后，处理本课时的3a,3b,对于这两部分的处理，我主要想教会学生一些分析解决问题的方法，而非单纯的通一遍答案；最后，设计一个调查任务：让学生调查其学习小组成员以及他们家庭成员的生日和年龄，然后将调查结果填入表格并按照年龄从小到大排序，最后由组长做调查总结汇报。对于这一任务的设计，旨在对目标语言进行语言输出的练习，同时巩固’s型的名词所有格的使用，并通过了解父母同学的生日，进行情感态度与价值观等方面的德育教育。

教学反思
著名的教育学家苏霍姆林斯基曾经说过：“智育的目标不仅在于发展和充实智能，而且也在于形成高尚的道德和优美的品质。”教育的本质包含着两个层面，即“教书”“育人”。“教书”“育人”两者同等重要。忽视其中的任何一部分都是教师的失职，因此我们在英语教学中应对学生进行必要的德育渗透。
我们所面临的学生现状是大部分家庭的孩子都是独生子女，由于家人的骄纵溺爱，使得这些孩子只关心自己，关注自己感兴趣的事情，而忽视了家人，更加无视父母的关爱。有些孩子对于自己喜欢的明星资料如数家珍，什么生日、年龄、星座、身高、体重等等，张口就来，可对于自己父母的事情，却是一无所知，关于父母的生日，很多学生都不知道。之前也很少在父母生日那天表达子女的孝心。所以本节课我设计了Find out your classmates’ and their members’ birthdays and ages. (调查同学以及他们家庭成员的生日和年龄)这一任务，通过有效的引导，对学生进行了尊敬父母，关心长辈的教育。教育学生心中要有他人，学会关心家人，营造一种爱的氛围。在英语教学中渗透德育教育，体现了英语学科的育人价值，这是我认为自己做的比较成功的地方。
但是对于本课3a,3b的处理，我觉得有所欠缺，如果能够把这一部分内容自然的融入到整个课堂教学环节中，应该会有更好的效果。
