Unit 10 Where are you going on holiday
一、教学目标：
(一) 语言知识目标
1.“四会”词： get (to), leave for,, by…,by train
2．“三会”词：Hongkong, fantastic, super
3. 学生能理解并初步运用以下句型及日常交际用语：
A. Where are you going on holiday I’m going to…
B. How are you going to get there I’m going by…
C. What time is your …going to leave for … At. past/to…
D.That’s fantastic/ super/good.
4.对课文1、2段的理解和朗读。
（二）语言技能目标：
1．能用上述语言知识就旅游话题询问对方去哪里和怎么去。
2．掌握科学地运用各种交通方式于生活实际中。
（ 三）学习策略目标：
1．学会借助基本的语音知识拼读、拼写单词。
2．查找了解自己感兴趣的旅游景点的资料，计划自己旅游的活动的安排。
（四）情感态度目标：
学会欣赏和赞赏别人，能对别人适时的活动安排在情感上做出相应 的反应。
二、教学内容及对象分析：
这篇对话具有较强的现实性，与生活实际结合紧密。学生已对数字及时间的两种表达有了初步的认识，对将来时在Unit 8也有了初步了解。因此巩固学习时间的表达。并以多样的形式让学生有效掌握运用旅游的话题知识是本节课的任务。
三 、教学重点
1、让学生熟练掌握本课的词汇和句型
四、教学难点
词汇句型的理解、记忆和运用。
五、教学过程 ：
(一)热身与复习：
1．Greeting: T: Good morning, children. Ps: Good morning, Miss …
T: Hello, everybody. Ps: Hello, Melody. 天天都happy
2.引出目标：
(1) T: Now, boys and girls, please open your books turn to P35, Let’s read Unit 8 the first paragraph together. Let me see which group can read very well. 学生齐读第8课第一段。
(2)Can you tell me the Chinese meaning of the second sentence
(3) Yes , be going to 打算，准备做什么。国庆节刚刚过去，下一个节日是什么呢？New Year's Day 在假期我们打算做什么呢？就是我们今天要学习的内容。Unit 10 Where are you going on holiday
3.复习before our new lesson, let's go over the time. (老师手指黑板上的钟)T: Look, what's this Ps: It's a lock.
T: yes, It's a clock without hands,… Can you help me (叫一学生用手扮时针与分针)
T: What time is it 请个别学生回答 2.30, 3.30, 9.30， 9.45，10.45, 11.45.(个别学生回答之后，请全班齐回答)
(二)呈现与操练
1．T: What date is it today Ps: It's October 26th.
T: Oh, The New Year's Day is coming. I'm so happy; I'm going to Hong Kong. 教Hong Kong What about you Where are you going on holiday 引导3个学生回答P : I'm going to…
T: (教师变换着) That's fantastic/ super.
2．T:去哪里度假How to ask in English 板书并带读：
Where are you going on holiday
I’m going to…
(T:如何评价，反应) That's fantastic/ super.教单词并做手势
3， practice in pairs:(教师先与一生示范)
4. check up
5.Chant: (由旧chant 改编)
Ps：Lucy, Lucy, Where are you going on holiday
I’m going to Beijing
What about you
P1: I'm going to…( 教师请个别回答)
Ps: That' fantastic/….( 全班根据教师的手势)
6．（接chant）….T: You are going to … How are you going to get there By plane or by train
P1:I'm going by… 以where , how问2个学生先让学生感知然后板书带读。并教get get there, by, by…的短语
7．Practice in pairs: ---- check up
8学习对话1,2段
（1）just now we talked about our travel, what about our old friends Miss White, xiaoling, and yongxian (指黑板上的表格人物) Now, Let’s watch and listen to the dialogue together. Before listening, I’ll give you a question: Where are they going on holiday
(2) Check the answer, T: Where is Xiaoling going on holiday
P1: Xiaoling is going to America.
继续问2个学生，T: Whole class answer: Where is Xiaoling going on holiday 以 同样的方法呈现其余的两个问题。
（3）practice in group, everybody use “ be going to “to say a sentence: For example(教师先与一生示范)
(4) check up
(5)(第二次是视听课文)T: watch and listen to the dialogue again. Please try to answer the question: How are they going on holiday By what OK
Ps: Ok.
(6) 引导学生回答：How is Xiaoling going on holiday By… or by…
P1: Xiaoling is going to America by plane.
继续问2个学生，T: Whole class answer: How is Xiaoling going on holiday 然后让学生提问个别学生回答的方法呈现其余的两个问题。
(7) Read the text by yourselves and find out the words or sentences you don't understand. ,阅读课文
(8) 回答学生的质疑，如果没有，要求学生回答老师的问题：
A. What’s the Chinese meaning: leave for 并画图解释
(9)Read after the tape．------ Read together-――in roles____boys (yongxian), girls (Xiaoling ) Miss Chen (Miss White)
（三）巩固与发展
1．小结本课需掌握的词汇与句型
2Game: (课件) 猜猜小动物元旦的旅游计划
T: some animals are going to some places on holiday, Can you guess where and how are they going to get there
3．(课件)同位根据提示编对话：
Make dialogue
●A: Tomorrow is the start of the school holiday,
Where are you going on holiday
●B: I'm going to….
●A: That's ….. How are you going to get there
●B: I'm going by…
●A: What time is your…. going to leave for….
●B: At … past/to…
(四) 布置作业：
1．听读课文20分钟
2.用…be going to…写写自己的旅游计划。

教学反思:
本节课是Unit 10 的新授课,在本节课教学中,我根据本班学生的英语学习的实际情况,及五年级学生对单词的教学目标而确定了本课时的相应的教学内容和教学目标.
1. 重视了学困生的学习.并一步一步引导学生学习理解课文.
2. 注重创设真实、自然的生活情境。让学生说说元旦的计划
3. 注重复习，过度语清晰。
4. 表格的设计有助于学生对课文的内容的理解。
5. 小组活动比较实际，有利于中下生参与课堂的学习。
在以后教学中值得提高的地方：
局限于课文的理解，整节课显得比较单薄，学生的语言输入和输出也会比较单一，不利于学生的语言运用能力。

一、教学目标：
