一、教学目标：

教材分析
本课内容主要围绕“文化礼仪”这一话题展开，谈论不同国家在不同的情境下的文化习俗，涉及的国家有China, the United States, Japan , Brazil, Mexico等，表示行为举止的动词有kiss,shake hands, bow. 此外还复习了一些相关的形容词如：impolite.本课的核心句型是be supposed to he be expected to + infinitive. 要求学生能够大致听懂描述有关国家文化礼仪的简单介绍，能够在听读中获取相关信息，并能模仿输入的语言，针对各国的风俗习惯恰当地进行语言输出。
1a-1c为本单元的导入部分。活动1a要求学生观察主题图，根据自己的初步判断将国家与初次见面的礼仪进行匹配。活动1b以听力的形式输入了本部分的重点句型句型：What are people supposed to do when you meet for the first time? 要求学生听后检测自己对1a活动的预测是否准确。活动1c让学生结对操练，利用1b的信息进行控制性的语言输出，尝试运用be supposed to和be expected to 句式就各国初次见面的礼仪进行问答。
2a-2d 部分的重点是听说教学。交换学生Maria在美国朋友家聚餐时犯了一些礼仪错误，对话题进行拓展。听力活动按梯度设计。2a部分让学生选择Maria的举止错误：2b部分要求学生关注Maria礼仪举止错误的具体表现；2c是基于听力内容的语言输出，让学生运用2a2b的具体信息模仿角色表演，反复运用be supposed to和be expected to 句式进行表达。活动2d依然围绕初次见面的礼仪话题，为学生呈现了一个真实的语言环境，供学生参照模仿。

教学反思
本课主要是一节口语对话课，在教学过程中帮助学生掌握知识，各个环节由易到难，环环相扣，面向全体学生，争取让每一个学生都能参与到教学活动中来，得到练习的机会，教学目标圆满完成，有效的进行了课程资源的整合，使英语与地理及中国的传统文化礼仪得到了有效的整合。大部分学生在这节课后能准确流利的使用所学句型以及单词进行自由会话。同学们通过合作学习积极抢答使课堂气氛活跃，巧妙地使用教学方法能充分调动学生的积极性和主动性，学生的合作意识会在活动中得到充分的展示。但这堂课我基本用全英语授课，导致基础不是太好的学生在理解上有些困难，从而不能很好地听懂老师的要求。但总体上来说，学生对每个环节都比较感兴趣，能够在轻松快乐的氛围中学习和使用英语，体验到了学习英语的乐趣。
