3、引导学生能知道且运用谈论身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点等句型去描述人物的外貌。
4、引导学生感受外貌描述在生活中的实际用途,在生活中不仅要注重外表美,更要注重心灵美。

通过以前对Section A 和Section B 1a-1e的学习,学生基本掌握了询问和从不同角度描述人物外貌的典型句型和重点词汇。学生们经过了半年多的训练,他们已经完全适应了小组合作团队学习,他们参与课堂活动的积极性更高了,他们也更加热爱学习英语了。

教学反思
1.首先我用一个视频短片来开始我的这一节课,播放之前,我抛给了学生们两个问题“1.When you see the crime ,what should you do? 2.what does the criminal look like?”用来引起他们的兴趣,吸引学生认真观看,从视频中找出他们想要的答案,培养学生的观察力。观看后,第一个问题把学生们善良的本性挖掘出来了,他们会想到要报警,我适当地引导他们要在一个安全的地方报警,做好事的时候要保护好自己。第二个问题描述罪犯的长相,即复习上一节课学过的内容,又为本课的学习做好了前期铺垫,很自然的引入了本课的学习。
2.学习目标的设计内容稍微有点儿多,可以进行进一步的整合会更简洁明了。
3.预习案的设计引导学生对本课的内容进行了课前自主预习。完成了一些初级问题,也生成了一些新的问题,即为本课的学习做好了铺垫,也引导学生带着疑问来学习本课,但学生汇报答案时发现,预习案的内容设计有点多,而且小组汇报答案时,如果用展台来呈现答案,其他小组补充和纠错就会更直观一些,效果会更好。
4.让学生听2b这篇文章回答问题之前,我先让学生描述一下教材的配图,三张图片,即培养了学生的观察力和语言表达能力,也为本篇文章的学习做了一下铺垫。这里我只给学生播放了一遍录音,如果再播放一遍,让学生轻声跟读,效果会更好。
5.阅读2b回答问题这一环节,我让学生自己来翻译问题让他们亲自感知问题。然后带着问题来感知文章,找出答案。汇报时,我也没有立即告诉他们的答案是否正确,而是问其他学生是否同意他(她)的答案,让其他同学有补充和纠错的机会。
6.任务2c,写出文中黑体字所指代的对象,当完成这一任务之前。我让学生适时回顾学习目标中的难点:学会通过上下文分析句子的逻辑关系,推测不用代词的指代对象。且举例示范:Tom is a boy, he is from America.问学生he指代的对象是谁?学生很容易答出是Tom,对2c任务的完成做好了充分的铺垫,明确了任务的重点。
7.通过前面预习案等一系列任务分解达成之后,学生已经阅读这篇文章3-4遍以上了,而且大多数句子的含义也已明白。所以这一环节,我让学生自主圈出重点句子,两人一组合作阅读,翻译重点句子,其他组可以提出反对意见和补充。这样设计可以突出重点,而且不浪费时间,然后生成问题和解决问题这一环节,完全把课堂交给学生;学生阅读,翻译2b时,会记录下自己的疑惑问题。如:不理解或不会用的单词、短语、句子或句型等,然后小组内讨论解决,这样大家互相帮助,会解决掉大部分问题。如有组内不能解决的形成小组问题写到黑板上,让其他小组帮助解决。我认为这一环节充分调动了人性探索和求知的欲望。激发了人性的创新思维和想象能力。在孩子们展讲、质疑、纠错、补充的过程中使知识不断完善,同时也让他们亲身感受到合作的重要性,当各小组呈现到黑板上的问题较多或较难时,我会挑选一些留到下节课解决,给展讲的小组多一些准备时间。从学校规定的角度来说,这节课有点超时了,但我认为当孩子们的思想和智慧的火花互相碰撞和交流时,是不应该拦阻的。
8.游戏环节的设计紧扣本课文章的主题,不但学以致用而且点燃了孩子们的热情和兴趣,孩子们从同伴的作品中看到了乐趣,也感受到警察艺术家的工作有时是有难度的,不由自主的对警察艺术家产生敬佩感 。
9.训练提升这一环节,本想让孩子们独立完成,然后组内核对答案,选一名同学展示汇报,但由于时间关系,这一环节处理的有点仓促。
10.孩子们谈反思和收获这一环节,再多找两个学生,谈一谈效果会更好。
11.课后作业内容的安排起到了对本课内容的巩固和延伸的作用。
