Unit7 Jobs
一、教学内容:
1.Words:
1)复习以前学过的职业:taxi-driver, engineer, manger, doctor, nurse, waiter, policeman
2)学习新单词:cook, mailman, salesclerk, hairdresser, dentist,
computer programmer, singer
2.Sentences:
1)询问和回答有关职业:What does Andy’ father do
He is a mailman.
2)学习询问对方将来想要从事的工作及回答: What do you want to be
I want to be a singer.
二、教学目标:
1.知识目标:
(1)学习并初步掌握与职业相关的一些词汇,并能在相应的功能句型中运用;
(2)能够在恰当的情景下询问他人的职业及回答的交际用语。
(3)学习在相应的情景下询问对方将来想要从事的工作及回答的交际用语.
2.能力目标:
(1)通过学习和操练,使学生能初步掌握本课所学关于职业的词汇,能较熟练地询问和回答他人的职业及对将来工作的理想,并做出相应的回答。
(2)在学习的过程中,让学生自己尝试着拼读较长的单词,培养学生拼读单词的能力;
3.策略目标:
帮助学生学会与人合作,共同完成学习任务。
4.其他目标:
(1)让学生了解每个职业都是光荣的、伟大的,无论做哪一行都能为祖国做贡献。
(2)在小组合作学习的同时,培养学生热爱集体的良好品质。
(3)通过多种活动,激发学生英语学习兴趣。
三、教学重点:
1. The main words: cook, mailman, salesclerk, hairdresser, dentist,
computer programmer, singer
2.The main sentences:
What does Andy’s uncle do He is a cook.
What do you want to be I want to be a/an ….
四、教学难点:
1.正确朗读和运用关于职业的词汇。
2.正确理解、询问对方的职业以及对将来工作的理想,并能做出正确的回答。
五、教具准备:
1.教师:多媒体课件,图片,单词卡片,调查卷。
2.学生准备:课本, 笔,学生卡片。
六、教学过程:
(一)Revision:
1. T: Boys and girls,(出示课件) I have a picture of my family, do you want to have a look This is my father. This is my mother. This is my grandma. This is my brother. This is me. You know, I’m a teacher. Teacher is my job. Can you guess what’s my father’s job What’s my mother’s job Can you guess
My father is a cook.
My mother is a teacher too.
My brother is a student.
My grandma has no job.
2. T: Let’s enjoy some pictures of jobs.
If you know the jobs, you can say it loudly.
Ss look the pictures of jobs, and say the jobs out.
3. T: What jobs do you know
Ss answer.
(二)New lessons:
1. T: Andy is our good friend. Let’s look at the picture of his family. Who wants to introduce the picture for us How many people are there in his family Who are they
(教师引导学生用:This is Andy’s grandfather….)
T: We have known Andy’s family member. But do you know their jobs
Ok, let’s listen and number the pictures.”
2. Listen and number.
The first time, please listen and point.
The second time, please number the pictures. Check the answers one by one “Who is number 1
The third time, listen and repeat the sentences one by one. Teacher asks the students “What does Andy’s …do ”(学生回答时单词说不上来,教师在这时候逐一教授单词,并可以先让学生有个感知本课功能句型的过程。)

3. 巩固单词。
机械认读:1 read after teacher
2 teacher points, students read.
Guess the jobs.
T: I have some pictures for you. When you look the picture, can you guess what job it is
4. 句型练习。
T: I have another picture of Andy’s family. Let’s have a look.(出示课件)
what does Andy’s uncle do He is a cook.
What does Andy’s… do He is a…
5. T: Who wants to be a teacher You can ask them.
What does Andy’s … do
再找一个学生A到台前来,全班根据教师所指的人物一起问What does Andy’s … do 学生A回答。(达到全班都能张嘴练习功能句的目的)
6. Do a survey.
T: Now, we have known Andy’s family. But what about your family I want to know your family. Let’s do a survey.
教师先示范。
学生做调查问卷,并和同桌一起练习,相互说一说家里的成员是做什么工作的。
学生汇报。这时,教师可以再根据学生的汇报问全班同学“What does ..’s …do
让全班一起回答,再次巩固功能句。
7.引出另外一个句型
T: When I was young, I like English very much. I want to be a teacher. Now, my dream has come true. I’m an English teacher. So what about you What do you want to be
S: I want to be a …
8. Let’s play a game:
1)教师拿出学生卡片和一名学生示范:甲先抽一张卡片,乙根据所抽的人物问:What do you want to be 甲回答:I want to be a… (板书)
2) Practice in pairs.
3) Act out.
(三) Summary:
1 Read the words on the board.
2.教师介绍一些人物的职业,出示课件,T: Please remember, every job is excellent, how can you make your dream come true What can you do for your dream
“Please remember: Where there is a will, there is a way.”
(四)Homework:
Talk about your dream job with your parents and think what you can do for your dream job.
