教材分析(15分) 本单元的中心话题是“新闻”,主要内容涉及新闻工作者要具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序。语言机能和语言知识主要围绕“新闻”这一话题展开。通过reading和using language两篇文章的学习,学生已经了解了新闻工作者的基本素质,新闻采访的基本程序,采访时应该注意的要点及新闻写作的步骤和见报前的有关程序。而Searching for the truth在语言和结构上易于理解,则本课重点放在让学生通过阅读课文明白第一手资料和第二手资料的区别及第一手资料对于弄清事情真相的重要性。Workbook的Speaking task部分对本单元所学内容进行了整体应用,培养学生通过调查第一手资料,探寻事件真相并进行报道的能力,体现了新课程更加注重学生能力的培养的理念。
教学目标(15分) 知识与技能学生能够区分第一手资料和第二手资料,明白第一手资料对于了解事情真相的重要性。在情景任务中练习调查第一手资料,并依靠第一手资料完成新闻报道。2.过程与方法在阅读中通过skimming 和scanning发现什么是primary sources 和 secondary sources以及记者怎样得到第一手资料以发现事情的真实情况。学生在教师创设的情景里进一步体会作为一个记者如何调查事件的真相并进行报道,进一步了解新闻制作的过程。3.态度情感与价值观本课在态度情感方面涉及到理解第一手资料对于研究事情真相的重要性。在学习过程中,创设情景进行交际,有效完成任务,提高学生的思维能力及协作学习的能力。
