A. Revision and presentation and practices of new words
a. T presents new words by comparing them with words learned before
(Car/ taxi, ship/ boat, bus/ truck, bike/ motorbike)
a. T guides Ss to read the new words, paying attention to spelling and the pronunciation of vowels
a. Clap and Say
T& Ss clap and say: truck, truck, it’s a truck…
C. Presentation and Practices of sentence patterns
a. T shows a picture of bird with some covers on it
Ss guess, using “Is this a… /Is that a … ”
T writes the answers of Ss on the blackboard, ticking “√”or “╳”
a. After the right answers, T sticks the sentence pattern on the blackboard and makes a sentence, using “It isn’t… It isn’t… It isn’t…. It isn’t… It’s a…” according to the notes on the blackboard
a. S repeats the sentence
a. Ss repeat the sentence
a. Ss guess “motorbike” and “taxi”, and then make the 2 sentences by themselves
