Unit 1 Hello!
The Third Period
Part B Let’s learn, Let’s do & Let’s chant
一、Teaching Aims:
1. Revise “What’s your name ”
2. Learn to say: I have a…. Me, too.
3. Learn to say: pencil-case, sharpener
4. TPR activity.
二、Special Difficulties:
1. 能用英语表达自己所拥有的东西。I have…. Me, too.
2. 能区别 pencil-box and pencil-case
3. 会做TPR活动。
三、Teaching Aids:
1. a pencil, a book, a ruler, a bag, a sharpener, a pencil-case
2. a recorder and a tape, a name card.
四、Teaching Procedure:
Step1. Warmer
1. T puts on the name card and say: Hello! I’m John. What’s your name
Ss put on their name cards, too. And answer T’s questions.
Step2. Presentation
1. Pretend to take sth. From the bag and tell Ss: I have sth. Long in my bag. Can you what it is When Ss guess right, T will say: Yes, I have a pencil. Anything else Take out the objects and say: I have a…. (板书) Let Ss guess the meaning of “ I have…”. Then use it to make sentences.
2. When Ss say “I have a ruler.” T shows the ruler and say: Me, too. (Repeat several times.) and then, let Ss know the meaning of “Me, too.”
Step3. Drill
1. T: I have a pencil. Ss show the pencil and say: Me, too. (T puts the things into the bag one by one when saying “I have a…” and then, present “I’m going to…” (板书)
2. Then, play the cassette and learn to say the chant.
3. Say the chant in groups of four. Ss can use other sth. To redo the chant. E.g.
S1: I have a teacher. / chair, pen… S2, 3, 4: Me, too.
Step4. Presentation
1. T says the chant with Ss again. T: I have… Ss: Me, too. And elicit: I have a pencil-box / pencil-case. / Sharpener.
2. 区分pencil-box & pencil-case. And then, try to read them.
3. 教授Open your pencil-case. / Close your … Ask Ss to listen and do. Then, play the cassette.
Step5. A game
Find the owner. (分两大组比赛)
同学们准备4cards: pencil-case, sharpener, book, bag. 师从一名学生手中拿走pencil-case，二生上台猜Whose pencil-case is this 其余生齐举图片喊：pencil-case, open your pencil-case. 生猜：It’s A’s pencil-case.猜对者为自己组加一分。Use the same way to guess other objects.
Step6. Let’s check
1. Open the book. 2. Show me your pencil. 3. –Goodbye. –Bye-bye.
4. Hello! My name is Mike.
Step7. activity book
Do Exx. From P4-P5.
Step8. Homework
1. Copy the words: pencil-case, sharpener, bag, book.
2. 用I have….造三个句子。
