一、教材分析:
《Go for it》八年级下册共12个单元,其中包括2?个复习单元。本书采用任务型语言教学(Task-Based Language Teaching)模式,融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构,形成了一套循序渐进的生活化的学习程序。该书增加了复习单元、文化背景知识和学习策略等部分补充材料,并增加了任务型学习成分和语篇输入。本书每个单元都列出明确的语言目标,主要的功能项目与语法结构,需要掌握的基本词汇,并分为A、B两部分。A部分是基本的语言内容,B部分是知识的扩展和综合的语言运用。每个单元还有self check部分,供学生自我检测本单元所学的语言知识之用。
它采用“语言的输入——学生的消化吸收——学生的语言输出”为主线编排的。通过确定language Goal,采用听、说、读、写,自我检测等手段,有效提高语言习得者的学习效率,有利于习得者的语言产出,体现了以学生为主体的思想。本单元围绕“传说和故事”这个话题,谈论过去发生的事情,重点训练“讲故事”这个语言功能项目。通过学习,要求学生掌握如何用过去时态讲述一个故事,描述古老的传说和有趣的故事,激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,理解并体会传说和故事的教育意义。在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能理解优美的传说和有趣的故事,掌握故事的基本结构,讲述自己喜爱的故事。

1、从课后反应看,多数学生体验到了成功的快乐,形成了主动积极的学习态度,基本达到了探究性学习的目的,这让我觉得特别快乐。教师在探究活动中的主导作用非常重要。体现在对教材的钻研、教学过程的设计、情感的激励、探究学习氛围的营造等各方面。如在本课中,学生在探究活动中出现了拍手、拥抱、欢笑等场面;在讨论热烈时,课堂似乎有吵闹之嫌。以传统眼光来看,会觉得学生纪律不尽人意。但如在当时对这些行为进行批评,会打击学生探究的积极性。因此,只要学生的确是在积极参与活动中出现上述情况的,教师可宽容待之,营造出宽松的探究气氛。教师还要有较强的应变能力,在学生思维受阻时巧妙引导,思维活跃时适时激励,有了思维成果后适当奖励……要真正成为学生学习的促进者、组织者和指导者,关键是转变传统的教学观念和教学行为。
2、要相信学生的学习能力。设计时考虑到学生基础差,接受能力弱的特点,原先担心学生讨论时不热烈,思维不够活跃等。想不到课上竟出现了好几个出人意料之处,这些让我认识到每个学生都蕴藏着充分的发展潜能,关键是教师如何开发。?? 3、我将本课与平时教法相比,觉得运用探究方式更能充分发挥学生的主体性,学生思维的广度、深度、密度更大,更易形成良好的学习方法、策略。本课80%左右的时间是学生活动,“以学生为主体”的教学理念得到了发挥。小组学习的形式,又增强了学生的合作意识。?学生体验到了探究学习的快乐。而这种体验,又促进了学生外语学习的积极性。他们下课了还不想休息,仍想着编故事的结局,真正达到了外语教学“激励情意”的目标。?? 4、在本次尝试中,我也发现了一些问题。比如,如何管理课堂,做到“放”而有“度”,“活”而不“乱”?如何在探究活动中照顾到学生的个别差异?如何利用小组群体力量,使那些对学习不感兴趣、成绩差、注意力不集中的同学也至始至终较积极地参加探究活动?我会为使课堂真正成为高效课堂继续努力。
