Treasure Island is about a 10-year-old boy, Jim, who goes out to sea and finds an island full if treasures with the help of a treasure map with an “X”. And finally he beats the one-legged seaman Silver and gets the treasures.
Little Women is about four sisters growing up. They get to know how to fight for independence and learn love, peace, joy and patience, even tolerance(容忍). It tells us the simple life is a kind of happiness.
Robinson Crusoe is based on a true story. The character was created by Daniel Defoe. It’s about a survival adventure of Robinson Crusoe. He came to a no-man island because of a ship wreck(失事). He lived there for 28 years, 2 months and 29 days. At last he came back to England together with his “Friday”.
Tom Sawyer is written by Mark Twain, a great American writer. The leading role is a boy called Tom, who is naughty(淘气的), smart, full of sunshine and a little rebellious(叛逆的). In this book, many exciting things happen to him.

本次“晒课、赛课“所使用的是:2013人教版 八年级下册的教材。
本套教材依据学生心理特点、认知水平和兴趣爱好来编写,充分考虑了学生的生活实际和学习要求,从内容到活动都赋予了时代性和时尚感,让学生在英语学习中有话可说,有话想说且有话能说,让英语课活起来,动起来。在重视培养学生语言运用能力和学习策略习得的同时,进一步丰富了文化教学的内容:包括我们的民族文化,英语国家的文化和非英语国家的文化。通过文化的学习和传递,令学生的视野更开阔,思想更丰富,思维更活跃,交流更得体。
本册教材共设置了十个topics:

其中,Topic 8,9,10 都是对现在完成时态的学习和运用。由此看来,现在完成时态是本册教材的一个重点兼难点,肩负了全册近三分之一的重量。如何深入浅出的、层层递进的将这一语法现象呈现给学生,需要全盘统筹。
英语新课程标准明确指出:“此次英语课程改革的重点就是要改革英语教学过分强调语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授、忽视对学生实际语言运用能力培养的倾向,……”
在这样的大背景下,有部分教师忽视了语法教学在英语教学中的作用,误认为语法教学无足轻重,甚至完全抛弃了多年来积累的语法教学经验。使得外语教学由“重知识、轻能力”的一个极端转向了“重能力、轻知识”的另一个极端。由于知识严重不足,缺乏系统,导致各种“能力”成为无源之水,无本之木。为此,在新课程背景下重新审视语法教学的地位,深入探讨语法教学的新策略就显得更为必要。
一.语法是联系词汇与句子的纽带,有了语法规则才能完整地表情达意,才能使语言具备有条理的可为人们所理解的特质。
二. 从学生学习英语的环境来看,必须学语法。我们学母语时,有良好的语言环境,不必学语法也可形成语感,获得用母语进行交际的能力。而我们中国人学习英语是外语学习而不是第二语言学习,大部分靠学得,不可能过多地靠习得; 而且英汉语言表达习惯也不同,汉语重意合,英语重形合。如果我们不去有意识地比较这两种语言,不去系统地、认真地学习掌握必要的语法规则和结构,就会出现理解和表达上的错误。
三.从学生学习英语的目的来看,要学好语法。学生学习英语的目的不单是口头交际,而要在全面培养听说读写的同时,侧重培养阅读理解能力。在阅读过程中,通过语法帮助才能正确理解。语法教学的目的不只是为了学生掌握语法,而是让他们获得学好英语的工具。
?在教学中,如果我们为了强调能力而不重视语法知识的教学,那么,谈能力只是一句不切实际的空话。当然,我们也不能以语法教学为主体而忽视培养学生语言能力的教学方法。而要在内容和方式上对语法教学进行改革。教师应改变教学观念,充分利用现代教育资源,在教材和教学设计上多下功夫,实施有效的教学策略。
目前,在中国国情制约下的英语教学是离不开语法教学的。在英语教学中我们应给予语法一片天地,将语法教学与阅读、听力、口语和写作等技能的训练结合起来,让语法知识自然地融合其中,使结构与功能相互依存。在语法教学中坚持“优化而不淡化,重视而不死抠”的教学原则。 本册教材将现在完成时态分三个层次呈现:
1.到目前为止发生过的事情;
2. 发生在过去且造成现在有影响;
3.延续性动作在现在完成时态中。
其难度系数虽逐渐加大,但是由于它和听力、口语、阅读等技能的训练结合起来,学生习得的过程并不沉闷,化繁为简,化晦涩为明快。
现在完成时与一般过去时态的区分、延续性动词在现在完成时态的使用是学生学习过程中的重点和难点,编者采用了:
1.归纳法。归纳法即教师向学生逐步渗透具体的语言现象,然后让学生观察、分析并找出规律,归纳和总结出语法规则,这样就更易使学生接受、理解和掌握语法(Grammar Focus)。
2. 对比法。学生学习了一些语法规则后,在一段时间内就会产生“越学越糊涂”的困惑。针对此类现象,教材组织学生将所学的某些语法知识进行思维加工,引导学生对类似的语法现象进行观察、对比和分析,启发他们找出关键点,最终发现其差异点(紧随Grammar Focus之后的4a,4b)。经过对比,看似复杂的语法知识很快“化难为易”,学生就会轻松掌握语法规则。

著名的美国教育心理学家波斯纳提出了一个教师成长公式:教师成长=经验+反思。新课标非常强调教师的教学(包括课后)反思。在新课程形势下要求:一个称职的教师,决不能“教书匠”式地“照本宣科”,要在教学中不断反思,不断学习,与时共进。思之则活,思活则深,思深则透,思透则新,思新则进。反思自己的教学行为,总结教学的得失与成败,才能不断丰富自我素养,提升自我发展能力,逐步完善教学艺术,以期实现教师的自我价值。
这是一堂听说课,主要语言任务是讨论最近发生的事件和自己的体验。从语言知识看,要求学生掌握现在完成时态的一般疑问句,并学会运用“Have you read ….? Yes ,I have. ; What do you think of …?; /What’s it like ? It’s fantastic .”?从语言技能上看,要求学生结合实际生活,表达自己对所发生事件的情感体验。从情感上看,让学生喜爱读书,读好书,读一些经典名著,并学会评价所看的读物。从学习策略看,培养学生的合作学习能力和用英语介绍自己已读的著作的能力。从文化意识看,了解西方文坛上一些脍炙人口的经典著作。
难点分析:
1. 第一次学到现在完成时态,学生对于这个时态的理解,have/has作为助动词的使用以及不规则动词过去分词变化上的掌握。
2.本节课中谈及到的西方六部经典小说具体的故事内容和情节。
设计思路
Step 1以微视频《知识就是力量——四月二十三日,世界读书日》导入妇孺皆知的中国四大名著,过渡到西方六部经典小说书名的学习(图片呈现),从Treasure Island引入目标语言Have you read?Treasure Island?yet ?
Step 2?交替操练目标语言。(兴趣盎然的学生在图片以及对话示例的引导下,顺利完成教学任务。)
首先创设读过或未读过某一著作的情境,操练目标语言一:
A: Have you read Little Women yet?
B: Yes, I have already read it.
/ No, I haven’t. I haven’t read it yet.
然后设定正在读某一著作的情境,操练目标语言二:
A: Have you read --- yet?
B: No, I haven’t. I haven’t finished reading it. I’m only on Page 30.

接着进行一句话概括名著内容和对其作出评价的操练:

这一任务的进行是基于学生课前有效的预习,对2d中的难点进行整合、预热和分批次呈现的处理。

本操练中对名著的简介,在“课前名著连连看”任务中对相关资料有补充深入,对顺利完成此环节有很大作用。
Step 6 2d Role-play
本环节可以看作是对前期训练的验收,各个难点已被拆分操练,效果相对较好。
课堂优点:
1.??微视频的使用旨在号召学生热爱读书,与书交友?,用知识武装自己;?用学生所熟悉的四大名著为导入,对学生而言有亲近感,容易被他们所接受。
2.??在目标语言初步接触感知后,先进行简单的认读和操练,然后再进行深入的整编,让学有余力的同学可以有拓展和发挥的空间,同时也能让学生更好的理解和掌握目标语言的真实意义和用法,真正做到让学生体验内化语言的过程,层次分明,难点成一定梯度呈现。
3.??根据学生实际需要,对六部小说和作者、作品进行了课前英文输入,再进行听力任务,在降低学生的学习难度的同时激发学生了解世界文学的阅读热情。
4. 对于目标语言的训练既有对教材的大胆整合,也有对情境的创新设定:对于名著的阅读,有读过,没读过,更有正在读时的爱不释卷。是对学生语言需求的一定预设,应该是对“不愤不启,不悱不发”的贯彻。
课堂不足
1.在教学内容的设计上话题面过窄,动词的过去分词涉及不够,局限性过强。课堂语言输入欠生动丰富。没有及时抓住课堂生成。有位名师说过,教师要能随机应变运用教学机智敏锐地去捕捉,用细致人微的心去发现每一个新的课堂生成点,以深厚的人文底蕴和智慧去化解矛盾,虽然生成的点也许只是昙花一现,但那似流星闪现的光彩却有可能成为永恒。课堂中学生说了句:TreasureIslandisabout a 10-year-old boy who goes out to sea and finds an island full of treasures.当时,缺少对学生的正确引导和语言的真实深入的交流,失去了真实沟通的机会,如能鼓励学生自由谈谈自己看过的名著,会及时把课堂生成点石成金。
2.对于能顺利完成教学环节任务的学生,评价还不够到位,鼓励性不够强,评价过于笼统,没有贴近学生心理和他们的性格特点。
3.课堂语言还不够富有激情,缺少鼓动性,让学生不敢大胆发言。
4.整节课的活动形式过于单一,过于程式化。如果能让学生在更轻松,自由的课堂气氛下参与多种活动,效果能更好。
课后感悟
作为教师,要不断地学习和探索才能有足够的能力满足学生求知的欲望。而不是一味的抱怨学生的愚笨或教材不适用,教师应当反思自己的教学环节和教学思路、观点是否需要改进,是否符合学生的需求,以一丝不苟、谦虚谨慎的态度对待每一个教学细节。教师要懂得换位思考,多站在学生的角度上,放下为人师的架子,做一个温和而谦逊的引领者和帮助者。?????????????
教师在课堂中要善于机智地运用课堂学生资源,灵活地创设教学语境,启发学生思维。通过精心的教学设计,能幽默睿智地指引学生探究语言知识点,同时不断地激励学生通过目标语言的示例感知、体验、提炼、归纳、总结语言知识。在一堂听说课中,让学生乐意开口、激起主动交流的欲望。教师才能真正实践?“以学生为主体”的教学思想。教师要淡化每个任务的教学痕迹,春风化雨,润物无声,用活泼幽默的评价语言构建师生最自然、和谐、真实的交流互动,实现课堂教学效果的最大化。
