一、教学目标与要求：
1. 知识目标：
本节课的内容为新标准英语（一年级起点）第九册 Module 2 Unit 1
本课的词汇：helpful, heavy, lift
本课语言结构: There be句型以及简单句This --- is ----.都是对过去句型的复现。因而本课的重点应当是指导学生对语篇的理解。
2. 能力目标：
指导学生抓住关键信息，培养良好的听、说、读习惯，与他人合作交流的能力。
3. 情感目标：
在生活中，我们应该互相帮助，当他人遇到困难时，我们应当竭尽所能地提供帮助。
二、教学重点及难点：
1.本节课的教学重点是重点单词及句子的听、说、读、写。
2.本课的难点应当是对句型结构的综合运用以及语篇训练。
三、课前准备：
1.教师自制的课件以及教学配套光盘。
2.教学单词卡片。
3.语篇训练的文本。
4.两个重量区别很大的盒子。
四、教学过程：
Step 1: Chant
出示课件：
Long, long, long, the ruler is long.
Short, short, short, the pencil is short.
Big, big, big, the apple is big.
Small, small, small, the pear is small.
How about the doll
It’s beautiful. Very beautiful.
Step 2: Presentation and practice
1. 通过chant中的图片引出本课主题supermarket
Children, look, where can you buy these things
------> supermarket
带着问题第一次进入课文，并播放光盘
“What’s in that supermarket ”
S: There are many sweets.
There are many fruits, too. （板书）
尝试让学生说出这两句话，跟读并板书。引导学生用There are ----. 句型描述青岛超市的真实情况
2. New word: lift
带着第二个问题听课文，并回答 “Can Lingling lift the bag ” —〉lift
出示单词卡片，并教读。再次播放光盘，学生找出答案。如果学生的答案不是很正确，再次听相关的那一页，找出正确的答案。
3. New word: heavy
T: Can Lingling lift the bag
S: No, she can’t lift the bag.
T: Why can’t Jingling lift the bag
S: This one is heavy. 试着引导学生说出这句话，并引出新单词
heavy “ea”/e/ “vie” /vi/
This one is heavy.（板书）
出示单词卡片，教读。学生亲自尝试桌椅是否重，体会heavy这个单词
What is heavy Talk about with your partner.
T: What is heavy
S: This ---- is heavy.
4. 借用两个盒子，体会哪一个重，并引出新单词helpful,渗透情感教育
There are 2 boxes.
Which one is heavy Who wants to try
找个学生分别搬起两个盒子，试一下哪个重，运用句型This one is heavy.
再找一个学生搬盒子，同时与此学生组成一段小情景对话，引出新单词helpful
T: Wait a minute! Can you help me put the box on that chair
S: Yes.
T: Please! 学生把盒子搬到椅子上
T: Thank you! You’re a helpful boy/girl.
helpful 出示卡片，并教读
5. 带字幕再次播放光盘，并跟读
Please find the words “big and heavy”. You can circle them.
引出：What a big supermarket!
This one is heavy.
6. Activity
播放光盘，活动用书部分，在检察环节，要求学生不仅读出问句，并能回答出完整的答语。
Step 3: Consolidation and extension
1. 课件：一幅西瓜的图片
T: This watermelon is big. Can you try
S: This watermelon is -----. 学生运用尽可能多的形容词描述这个西瓜
课本第七页第三部分练习题
This --- is -----. These ---- are ----.
2. 课件出示一些形容词
先引导学生读单词
Draw anything on a piece of paper. Then describe the picture with these words.
学生用学过的句型描述他们的图片特征
This --- is ----.
3. 课件：果园图片，及短文录音
学生运用学过的句型描述图片。
S: There is -----. There are-----.
This --- is ----. These --- are ----.
听音标序号，检查学生的答案并渗透情感教育
What do you think about these children
They are helpful.
They can help the farmer. What about you
S: I can help ------
So you are helpful children.
Step4: Summary
读一下板书内容，回顾本课学过的内容。
Step 5: Homework
1. Read the dialogue.
2. Describe anything with English. Then write it down.
