Module 4 Unit 1 we’re going to sing and dance.
一、教学目标与要求
1.学生能够掌握四会单词invitation
2.四会句型What are you going to do We’re going to have lunch together. Are you going to have a birthday cake 学生能描述将要发生的事情并与别人谈论、问答，表达自己的想法。
二、教学重点
What are you going to do We’re going to have lunch together. Are you going to have a birthday cake 句型结构的理解和运用。
3、 教学难点：
1.have lunch, have a birthday cake,“have”在这里面都表示吃的意思。
2.听说读理解then，toy以及词组play with, tidy up 的含义。
3.知道be going to表示将来，用于一般讲来时，后面加动词原形，并能熟练应用。
四、教具准备：
录音机, CD- Rom, 绘制一张邀请卡，制作相应的课件
五、教学过程：
Step1 Warm-up:
1.用课件展示一张过生日的图片，并播放“ Happy Birthday!”这首英语歌曲。在熟悉的乐曲中激发学生的学习兴趣。
2．Free-talk
a. How many children are there What are they eating
What are they doing They’re having a birthday party.
几个简短的问题，既锻炼了学生语言表达能力，又引出今天的新课。
I am going to have a birthday party, too. Let’s see what are we going to do
Step2 Presentation
一）单词教学
first I am going to write an invitation to my good friend.这时展示一个邀请卡，让学生认真听老师发音，然后猜出其对应的字母。invitation，这样在不知不觉中就培养学生的单词拼写能力。练习单词我还设计了一个小游戏，就是把请柬藏到一名学生那里，另一名学生根据其他学生的读单词声音来找单词，声音越大他离单词越近，声音越小他离单词越远。真正实现了在玩中学、学中玩，不知不觉中就培养了学生学习英语的兴趣。
二）句型教学
1、I am going to have a birthday party。Let’s see: What are we going to do 我们将要做什么呢？依次出示图片或做动作：we’re going to have lunch together./ we’re going to sing and dance / we’re going to have a birthday cake.并且强调be going to表示将来，用于一般讲来时，后面加动词原形。
2、I am going to do many things. Let’s play a guessing game.
Use“ Are you going to ------- ”to ask这时出示课件，（如sing, dance, watch TV, play the flute, have a party.）让学生用抢答的方式进行提问。通过激发学生想说的愿望，在语言练习中也有利于学生表达能力的提高。
三）课文教学
Our friend Amy is going to have a birthday party, too. Let’s see what are they going to do
1.自己阅读课文第一段回答How old is she going to be
学生回答：“She is going to be 11.”培养学生自学能力，提高阅读能力。
2.小组阅读第二段, 回答What are they going to do They’re going to have lunch. “Is Amy going to have a birthday cake Yes。“have”在这里面都表示吃的意思。”增强小组合作意识，培养发现问题一起解决问题的合作能力。
3. 三四段听音，并回答问题What are Amy and her friends going to do 并让学生划出They’re going to (have lunch, sing and dance, help me tidy up)解释play with, 和…玩，让学生造句，培养学生的语言表达能力。学习tidy up，这个词组是本课的难点，可以让学生这样练习，手心跟老师读，手背不跟老师读，这样可以集中孩子的主意力和激发学生的学习兴趣。并提出希望Tidy your room every week. 适时对学学生进行思想品德教育。
4.Read the passage and circle “ going to”进一步强调going to”的用法
5. Act in different roles. (小组四人分角色朗读。)
6. 在讲解和和练习的基础上fill in the blanks according to the hints and retell the passage. 让学生对课文有一个整体的感知。学生能复述也可增强学生学习英语的自信心。
Step 4: Summary：
教师根据板书用汉语对所学知识进行总结。
Step 5: Homework:
1. Copy the words we have learned today.
2. Recite the dialogue.
3. finish the excises about this lesson.
