Module 9 Unit 2 Zara was happy.
一、教学目标与要求
1. 知识与能力目标
能够书写的单词:hungry (B4), thirsty (B7), water (B2)
能够听说的句子:She drank some water.
能够听说认读的语句:Zara was thirsty.
2. 情感态度目标
教育学生在生活中应当主动帮助父母做力所能及的家务劳动,与父母亲建立和谐的亲子关系。
二、教学重点及难点
掌握文中出现的动词的过去式形式,能够对他人或自己做过的事情或有过的感受进行描述。
三、课前准备
录音带或教学光盘、单词卡片
四、教学过程
Step 1 Warm up
1. 师生问好
2. 询问学生现在及昨天的心情与感受如何,复习过去时态。
T: Are you ……
Ss: Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
T: Did you …yesterday
Ss: Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
3. 听录音,学唱歌曲,作动作。Page 37 Activity 3
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1. 学习课文。
(1) 出示Unit 2中Zara的图片。
T: This is our new friend, her name is Zara. Yesterday, she was sad first. Why And what did she do Let’s listen and find.
播放课文录音,帮助学生找到正确的答案。
(2) T: After that, what did Zara do And how did she feel At last, was Zara happy
Listen again and answer.

通过学生的回答,学习单词:hungry, thirsty, drank, water. 以及句子 She drank some water.
(3) 自读课文,圈出课文中的动词过去式。并试着写出它们的原形。
(4) 听录音,跟读课文。
2. Game: Mime, ask and answer.
开展书中练习四的活动,重点练习本模块学习的形容词。
e.g. T: Are you ______
S: Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
小组中开展此项活动。
1. Finish the activity books.
(1) Look, say and write.
a. 同位两人就这四幅图进行讨论,利用句型She was ……来描述。
b. 试着将每幅图所用的形容词拼写出来。
c. 仿照例句,补全另外三幅图。
(2) Read and complete the sentences.
a. 小组内先说说方框中每个单词的意思。
b. 独立完成填空。
c. 订正答案。Read the sentences.
(3) Listen and write.
Step 3 Consolidation and extension
Try to write about your yesterday.
(1) Give a model to the students.

(2) Give some useful words to help the students.

Step 4 Summary引导学生总结本节课所学内容,引导学生学会描述自己或他人过去的感受。

1. Copy the new words and important sentences.
2. Enjoy the song.
3. a. Listen and repeat the dialog.
b. Try to make a new story about your last Sunday.
作业1为必做作业,作业2中的A B 两部分学生可以根据实际情况选作一项。
