教材分析
本单元是人教版七年级下学期第十二单元。主要以周末活动为主线,以What did you do last weekend?为中心话题,主要运用what/where/who 引导的特殊疑问句来谈论周末活动“去了哪里,做了什么,和谁一起去的。 ”功能是运用一般过去时谈论刚刚过去的一些常见周末活动。上课前一周刚好是清明假期,此时谈论这一话题贴近学生们的日常生活,也是继本学期第十一单元后继续学习一般过去时的用法,符合学生的认知结构 和年龄特征。而本节单元基础课的重点就是用过去时态来谈论同学们周末活动,同时通过谈论周末活动来进一步学习一般过去时态。难点就是用一般过去式描述过去发生的事情。
本部分内容的教学应分为4个课时,课型:新授课。

通过对《课标》的学习和理解,以及对学生和本课教材的分析,我在What?did you do last weekend?一课的教学活动时,注意突出了以下几点: 1、把学习的主动权交给学生。 在本课教学中,首先我让学生到黑板上书写出动词的过去式,训练他们书写能力,然后他们讨论What kinds of animals are people sometimes afraid of?Why?这一系列的活动为学生们创造了设计自己感兴趣活动的条件,他们在活动中以“主人”的身份去思考、讨论、调查、交流、合作,自主地完成了任务。 2、利用现代教育技术,拓宽学生学习和运用英语的渠道。 现代教育技术,尤其是多媒体技术与网络计算机交互学习技术对学生自主学习有着重要的促进作用。在本课中,我使用课件帮助学生直观地学习新单词;通过录音呈现课文,有助于学生对课文的理解。 3、面向全体与分层次达标训练相结合。
在本节课中我本着面向全体的尽量让更多的同学参与到回答问题,小组讨论活动来,布置作业进行了分层设计。 此外,本课也存在着许多的不足。如:教师留给学生思考的时间过短;教学环节衔接不够紧密;教师和学生间的交流还不够深入;教师指导性语言过多,有时打断学生的发言。更重要的是教师要努力提高自己在英语语言方面的水平,全面锻炼自己多方面的应变能力,做到授课时不慌不乱,沉着稳重。
