Step 1. Lead in . Free talk.

Step2. (1)Learn the new words by pictures. Then read them together.

Step3. Finish1a.呈现PPT投影书本Section A 1a图片并就图片提几个简单的问题。引导学生看图说单词。学生观察图片并回答相应问题。Then check the answers.
Step 4. Listening.
Pre-listening: 完成Section A 1a并校对答案。引导学生观察听力图片，猜测听力内容。
While-listening: 第一遍播放录音，要求学生完成听力任务。第二遍播放录音，逐句播放录音.
Post-listening: 根据听力材料邀请一名学生进行pair work,, (1C)并要求其他学生模仿。

2.教材分析：
本单元以“ask for and give directions on the street”为主题，Section A主要为各建筑物名称和方位介词的学习和运用，并自然引出询问某一场所位置的两个重要句型“where’s the…? Is there a … near here? ”以及简单的回答。在学生有了充足的语言积累准备后，Section B侧重问路与指路这一综合语言项目。
课时的内容选取为Section A（1a-2c），是本单元的第一课时，课型为听说课。主要教学内容是表示地点的单词的掌握和运用，以及学会用where’s the…? Is there a … near here? 得体地向他人问路，并能通过next to, across from等方位介词或介词短语来表达方位。最终使学生能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演等活动，能在问路指路的交际过程中使用礼貌用语，能在上述口语活动中使用正确的语音、语调。通过介绍各自所在的社区，学生增进了彼此之间的了解，并培养了学生在实际生活中辨别方位位置的能力。

通过上本节课，总结发现，这节课的优点：环节齐全，单词掌握较好，练习方式多样。缺点：课堂气氛不活跃，小组合作不积极，环节设置上与预期目标差距较大，有的地方设计也与学生实际生活相差较远，如开头的樱桃园话题，有的孩子根本就不知道。部分学生英语能力较差，词汇量不足，可能不敢开口也不愿开口。所以他们就无法体会到学习的快乐和成功的喜悦。在今后的课堂上，要最大程度上使环节设计充分贴近孩子生活，多引导，少给方法，多给方向。
