Step 1. Lead in . Free talk.
T: Please look at the beautiful picture.It’s the Cherry Park.Do you know where it is? It’s near the Mount Tai.Where do you live?S: I live in….T: If you want to introduce your home in detail .You need some more preposition of places, like on, under ,between….Now let’s enjoy a video about the preposition.
Step2. (1)Learn the new words by pictures. Then read them together.
(2)Guessing game。1. If you want to eat, you will go to the ____________.
2. If you want to stay and eat meals, you will go to the ____________.
Step3. Finish1a.呈现PPT投影书本Section A 1a图片并就图片提几个简单的问题。引导学生看图说单词。学生观察图片并回答相应问题。Then check the answers.
Step 4. Listening.
Pre-listening: 完成Section A 1a并校对答案。引导学生观察听力图片,猜测听力内容。
While-listening: 第一遍播放录音,要求学生完成听力任务。第二遍播放录音,逐句播放录音.
Post-listening: 根据听力材料邀请一名学生进行pair work,, (1C)并要求其他学生模仿。

Step Six: Listening (2b)
Pre-listening: 教师呈现方框中的六组方位介词,让学生齐声朗读,引导学生猜测听力内容。
呈现听力题型,并作出以下听力技巧的指导:
Listening tips: Take notes by writing the first letters of the words.

Step Seven :Pair work
展示泰山大街地图,并作一定介绍和解释,带读一些关于身边熟悉的地点词汇。

教师呈现课前准备好的自制地图,并做一定讲解。给出一些可用的词组和句子作为提示和支架:

2.教材分析:
本单元以“ask for and give directions on the street”为主题,Section A主要为各建筑物名称和方位介词的学习和运用,并自然引出询问某一场所位置的两个重要句型“where’s the…? Is there a … near here? ”以及简单的回答。在学生有了充足的语言积累准备后,Section B侧重问路与指路这一综合语言项目。
课时的内容选取为Section A(1a-2c),是本单元的第一课时,课型为听说课。主要教学内容是表示地点的单词的掌握和运用,以及学会用where’s the…? Is there a … near here? 得体地向他人问路,并能通过next to, across from等方位介词或介词短语来表达方位。最终使学生能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演等活动,能在问路指路的交际过程中使用礼貌用语,能在上述口语活动中使用正确的语音、语调。通过介绍各自所在的社区,学生增进了彼此之间的了解,并培养了学生在实际生活中辨别方位位置的能力。

通过上本节课,总结发现,这节课的优点:环节齐全,单词掌握较好,练习方式多样。缺点:课堂气氛不活跃,小组合作不积极,环节设置上与预期目标差距较大,有的地方设计也与学生实际生活相差较远,如开头的樱桃园话题,有的孩子根本就不知道。部分学生英语能力较差,词汇量不足,可能不敢开口也不愿开口。所以他们就无法体会到学习的快乐和成功的喜悦。在今后的课堂上,要最大程度上使环节设计充分贴近孩子生活,多引导,少给方法,多给方向。
