(一)教材地位分析
本单元是人教版《新目标》的第四单元。总体而言,这本教材的词汇量很大,有难度,但是,内容新颖,尤其是生动活泼的卡通化的画面,很符合七年级学生的年龄特点和心理特点,其中还囊括了丰富多彩的文化知识,以及合作探究的活动,十分贴近学生的实际生活经验。
本单元的话题Talk about rules.与日常生活密切相关。作为一名中学生,遵守校纪班规家法,和社会公共场所的规章制度是必须的。在谈论规则时,一般运用祈使句、情态动词can和have to等。这是英语新课程标准中规定所必须掌握的内容,是交际英语中必不可少的项目。因此,本单元对于提升学生的学习兴趣和提高学生的听、说、读、写能力都有很大的帮助。 (二)教学内容分析
本课由两部分构成,第一部分通过学习学校的规章制度展示祈使句和情态动词can的用法,第二部分通过听力和模仿制定各部门的规章制度,对所学祈使句进行巩固和强化。

? ?面对时代进步的要求,在新课标的要求下,我们必须转变教学理念,课堂教学必须重视学生自主学习能力的培养,发挥小组合作学习的作用,发展学生听说读写的技能,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,更好地提高课堂教学质量,有效实现教学目标的完成。我在具体的教学过程中,以新课标为指导,根据学生的实际水平和教材的内容,对教材内容进行了重组,以下便是我在讲授完Unit 4 Don't eat in class(Section A 1a-2c )后的反思:
(一)? 认真备课,改进教法,优化课堂教学
“兴趣”是最好的老师。学生对于自己感兴趣的事物,自然会用更多的时间钻研。因此,把握好重难点,设计出符合实际且最能让学生感兴趣的教学手段至关重要;因此我在上这节课前,精心设计了教学过程,并根据教材内容,拍了了不少有关学生违反学校制度的图片,帮助学生理解课文里的重点短语和句型。同时运用到每一个教学环节里,激发学生学习兴趣;同时根据教材内容,设计与学生生活密切的讨论话题,如:学校里有哪些规定?我们应该做什么?不应该做什么?图片中的学生违反了哪些规定?你应该给他们提出什么建议?等等来吸引学生注意力,让学生乐于学习,善于思考,积极参与到课堂活动中来,提高了英语教学效果。另一方面,在课堂上通过提一些较浅显的问题来鼓励学习困难生,让他们树立信心!对英语的学习充满希望。
(二 ) 夯实基础,重视双基训练
新课改后,有种现象就是:学生在课堂上轰轰烈烈表演完后,下课就忘了所学得东西。所以英语学习依然要狠抓句型和单词,巩固基础知识。因此,利用每天上课前五分钟让学生开口读英语,锻炼说的能力,熟悉课文。并要进行经常性的检查和抽查,使学生不知不觉地巩固所学习的英语单词和重点句型。在每堂课上完成阅读听力问题时,提示学生根据上下文猜词,回顾旧知识。与此同时,还要区分易混、易错的单词,给同学们多举例子来做以讲解。并设计单元同步练习,保证学生对基础知识的掌握及运用。
(三) 重视学法点拨,培养学生灵活运用知识的能力。
“授人以鱼,不如授之以渔,”,我在传授知识的同时,更注重教会学生学习的思路和方法。例如:我在讲授课文内容时,要求学生根据题目,图片预测课文内容,教会他们如何根据词性及上下文的内容猜测新句型的意思;在听力训练中,我的重点是放在对学生的听力技巧指导上,首先,帮助学生根据课文的图片和文字猜测听力材料的内容,然后听的时候抓住关键词句,达成教学目标。然后提示学生总结归纳自己在完成任务的过程中运用了哪些方法? 因为学生是通过思考讨论才得到的启示,所以在平时的听力测试中,会有意识地强化方法的运用,提高了学习的能力。
(四) 需要改进的地方:
因为本节课主要讲解祈使句的用法,注重了学生的口头练习,书写内容较少。 学生掌握的英语词汇量有限,对于全英教学不能适应,有时候用英语发出的指令,学生听不懂,需要翻译一下,显得教学环节和课堂教学内容没有自然衔接,学生比较被动,教学气氛及教学效果不明显。
同时,因为我班为四人小组合作,在合作过程中,需要较多时间给学生讨论演讲,但有时为了完成教学计划赶进度,没有给学生充分的时间去活动和思考,有的小组由于得不到时间展示自己的成果,他们觉得没有成就感,同时小组活动中学生参与程度不均衡,有些语言表达能力强的学生参与机会明显较多,他们在小组活动中起着支配的作用,而另一些较为消极的学生学习较为被动,喜欢做听众,对一切语言活动表现冷漠。这都是我在教学中急待与同仁探讨和解决的问题。
总之,为了提高英语教学质量,教师必须对英语课堂教学进行反思,不断完善教学过程,不断反思,不断进取,努力提高课堂教学质量。我们每个教师都应在教中思,思中教,方可求得发展。
