Module 4 Unit 1 Can you run fast
一、教学目标
1.知识目标：
①会听、说、读can, winner, jump, far, see puddle。
②能够掌握并运用句子①Can you … Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.询问别人是否会作某件事情。
③根据老师的提示引导，能够用“I can…/ I can’t…”这样的句型描述自己会做或不会做的事情。
2.能力目标：
培养学生自主探究学习以及灵活运用已有规律的能力。
3.情感目标：
通过各种生动有趣的课堂活动形式激发学生学习英语的兴趣，并让学生尽可能多地挖掘自己的潜能，尽可能多地表达自己会做的事情，以培养学生的自信心以及张口说英语的能力。

Can you … Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.”
三、教学难点
根据老师的提示引导，能够用“I can…/ I can’t…”这样的句型描述自己会做或不会做的事情。

六 教学过程
Step One: Warm-up
1.唱歌曲《Row Row Your Boat》,
（老师跟着学生一起边唱边做动作，表情、动作、声音响亮。）
2.复习体育运动类词组。
T: Boys and girls, look at the TV, what’s it （多媒体展示运动类图片）
Ss: Swim.
T: Can you swim （T板书在黑板上）
Ss: Yes. / Yes, I can. /No./ No, I can’t. (T板书，教读，并加上夸张的动作，帮助学生完整回答问句。)
T: Do it, please!
Ss: (Do the action )
以此方式复习其他体育运动类词组：sing dance play football play basketball jump run 复习完毕之后将词组贴在黑板上。
Step Two: Presentation
1.创设情境，提出任务
T: Today we’ll make a survey to find who can run fast/jump far and so on. Now we’ll learn the Unit 1.
2.Run & run fast
T: Boys and girls, can you run Put up your hands.
Ss: (put up their hands)
T: Do the action, please.
Ss: (do the action)
T: Very good. All of you can run. But can you run fast (呈现新单词fast)
T: All of you can run. But can you run fast (呈现新单词fast)
Look at me , run/ run fast (T做动作，以区别run & run fast，并操练2---3次，让学生明白二者的区别)

T: Well, can you run fast
Ss: Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.
T: Well, A, you can run fast.
B, you say you can run fast.
A, you come here. B, you come here.
Let’s see. Who can run fast (A和B比赛看谁跑得快。拉着赢的学生的手，…is winner. 引出新单词winner. T教读，抽读，学生开火车读，分组读，齐读等。并练习句子“I’m the winner”，加上夸张的动作。)
3.Jump & jump far
T: Boys and girls, can you jump
Ss: Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.
T: Who say “Yes”, put up your hands.
Ss(put up their hands)
T: Well, can you jump far (呈现新单词far。T教读，T抽读，学生开火车读，小组读，齐读等)
Ss: Yes, I can. /I can’t.
(找2个回答“Yes, I can.”的学生比一比看谁跳得远。其他的学生就问Can you jump far 这2个学生回答后就比赛谁跳的远。对着跳得远的学生说“… is the winner.”)
4.Practise in pairs.

S2:Yes, I can. S2:No, I can’t.

5.Practise （SB P15）
T: Now, I want you to use these phrases .Who can have a try (找人做示范后让学生2人一组练习P15第3部分的内容。教师抽查学生练习效果。)
6.The text.(SB P14)
T: Some of you can run fast. Some of you can’t jump far. How about Sam and Amy, do you know Now, Let’s see.(导入课文的学习，出示Sam和Amy的头饰，贴到黑板上。)
（1）Listen and find “can, can’t”.(听磁带，当听到can, can’t时，就拍手一次，如果学生拍错，全班同学对着那个学生说“No, no, no.” )
（2）Listen and repeat.(听磁带跟读课文。)
（3）Listen and repeat ，answer the questions.( 听磁带跟读,回答问题。)

Can Amy run fast No, she can’t.
Can Sam jump far No, he can’t.
Can Amy jump far Yes, she can.
Can Sam swim Yes, he can.
（4）Look and match.(看挂图，并结合课文，把词组卡片移到相应的地方。)

7.Game---Good luck or bad luck
T: Sam can run fast. Sam can’t jump far.
Amy can jump far. Amy can’t run fast.(教师指着图示，带领学生一起说这个句子。)

（此环节为拓展环节，是让学生从本节的询问别人会干什么，延伸到要求学生用“I can…” “I can’t…”句型介绍自己会做的事情或者不会做的事情。学生可用黑板上没有的词组来说句子，说正确了奖励1张贴画。也可用黑板上已有词组来说句子。说正确了，教师拿下词组卡片，并展示背面，如背面显示数字1，则奖励1张贴画，是数字2则奖励2张贴画，如果是哭脸，也不能得到贴画。）
8.填写调查表。
T:Some students say “I can play football.” Some students say “I can’t swim.”
How about your classmates Now, look at this piece of paper. This time, I want you to ask your classmates and fill the blank, use the sentence “Can you… ”（能力调查表，其中前四项是指定的，后面的可以由学生根据自己的喜好独立填写。然后对其他同学进行能力调查。为本课的情境——运动会做准备。最后由三到五名同学向全班汇报。）
