In this Unit the Ss learned to make inferences. And in last period Ss talked about aliens. We can naturally go into something more mysterious. Teaching material is so attractive that we can lead the Ss search the information quickly. The linking language and useful language patterns can teach Ss how to describe a mystery.
3.Teaching guideline
According to the mystery, the Ss can quickly go into the reading part. After doing the reading tasks (include fast reading and careful reading), Ss will understand the text better. Then go to the reading strategy-identify linking language. At last, use the linking language and useful patterns to describe another mystery.
