Module 10 Unit 1 You should tidy your toys
【教材分析】
语言功能：谈论应该和不应该做的事情。
语言结构：You should…/you shouldn’t…
教学目标：
a.语言知识目标：学习目标语句You should…/You shouldn’t…
b.语言技能目标：能听懂会说目标语句，能运用他们谈论应该和不应该做的事情。
c.情感态度目标：培养学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生的英语合作能力。以及养成良好的文明行为和习惯，做个讲卫生、讲文明的好孩子。
教学重、难点：
重点： 掌握目标语句：You should…/You shouldn’t…
难点： 谈论应该和不应该做的事情，并能在真实的语境中运用。
【学生分析】
学生已经学习过有关 can/could的语句，并学习过相关的陈述句、一般疑问句和特殊疑问句。在此基础上学习本课的目标语句，需要教师创设真实的语言环境,让学生们能够理解并正确地运用。本课的难点就是让学生能够结合现实生活谈论应该和不应该做的事情，在听说读的基础上，加一点写的训练，以加强学生的综合语言运用.
【设计理念】
教学的设计是以学生的生活经验为出发点，以活动为形式，采用任务型教学的模式，发展学生的思维，培养学生的兴趣，同时培养学生用英语做事情的能力。
【教学准备】
录音机，教学配套光盘，课件, 单词卡片，各组一张大白纸
【教学流程】
Step1 Warming-up（热身活动）
a. Greetings.
b.Sing a song.
Step2 Presentation（任务呈现）
a. Ask questions about the song.
T: What can the girl do Can you play basketball/run fast/jump
Can you play basketball in the street/run in the class/jump on the bed
You shouldn’t play basketball in the street/….
b.Present the task: 今天这节课我们来学习用英语谈论应该/不应该做的事情,并制定英语的班规。
Step3 New Teaching（课文教学）
a.T: Ms Smart is angry with Tom. What is Tom doing Let’s watch the CD-Rom.
b.Watch the video and answer the question: Tom is making a mess.
c.Listen to the tape again and let students pay attention to the questions:
What shouldn’t /should Tom do
d.Encourge the students to answer, then write down the drills on the board.

You shouldn’t take the books off the shelves.
Should tidy your toys.
（通过两遍带着不同的问题听课文，让学生理解课文大意，并提炼出目标语句）
e.Learn the word “should” ,compare with the words “could, would”（在新授句型的学习过程中，学习四会单词should，让学生自然理解，同时帮助学生通过与其他单词的联系和辨别进行记忆）
f.Learn the phrases “play with/take…off” and the word “shelves”
g.Watch TV and say: You should /shouldn’t… .
h.Encourage the students say what they should/shouldn’t do at home.
i. Let students watch the screen and say with the drills.
j.Listen to the tape and repeat.
k.Ask some questions about the dialogue.
What does Tom feel
Who helps Tom
What is the room like now
Is Tom a good boy now
If we make mistakes/somebody help you/somebody say “Thank you.” what should we say/answer
