一.教材分析:
该篇阅读材料讲述的是新加坡的相关信息,包括语言、饮食、旅游、天气等,通过速读、跳读、详读等阅读方式,使学生获取以上信息,并掌握各种阅读技巧。激发他们美好的想象力和憧憬,使他们在领略异域风情的同时,激发学习兴趣和决心。
二.教学目标
1、知识目标:
单词:掌握词汇quarter,population,fear,environment等。??
语言结构:动词的一般过去式和过去分词,过去完成时的一般疑问句。
句型:Have you ever been to ……?
2、语言技能:
听:能识别不同句式的语调,判断句子意义的变化。
??说:能在本课的任务型活动如:调查、进行简单的交流。
? 读:能正确朗读文章。??
写:读后能模仿写一篇文章介绍自己的家乡或者曾经去过的地方。
3、学习策略:抓住阅读要点,掌握阅读技巧,快速接受阅读信息。
4、情感目标: 通过学习本课时,激发学生美好的想象和学习欲望。
三.重点:
1.复习句型:
How was your weekend? It was great.
?2.学习词汇
quarter,population,fear,environment等。
3. 学习句型
1.Have you ever been to……?
2.More than three quarters of the population are Chinese.
四.难点:
1、不规则动词的过去式过去分词。
2、population 做主语时谓语动词的选择。
五.教学过程:
Pre-reading
1.Greeting
2.Lead in(以生动有趣活泼的动画开始课堂,吸引同学的注意力,激发他们学习的兴趣。)
本节课新单词已经作为课前预习任务让同学们在课下预习。
3.用关于新加坡的视频增加神秘感和向往。
二.While-reading
1. Look through the reading, and find the key words in each paragraph.(快速浏览文章,找出各段的关键词,锻炼学生快读,找关键句的习惯。)
2.Read each paragraph and answer the questions.(细读文章,回答每段提出的问题。每段问题的呈现方式不同,避免学生视觉疲劳。)
3.第一段关键词是 language,围绕这一关键词提出相应问题。(问题呈现方式,回答问题)
4.part 2 ask: What kind of food can we find in Singapore?
(呈现方式:图片,生动,简洁。)
5.part3:explain what is the Night Safari.
6. 这一段,重点句型重点词组比较多,文字优美,读起来朗朗上口,所以选择这一段让同学们朗读,通过与同桌合作,可以互相学习,检查,共同进步。
7.Paragraph4: temperature(仔细阅读第四段,根据内容判断正误)
三.After –reading
1.再一次通读课文,根据课文细节,给下列句子改错。(坚持:总-分-总的阅读策略,再次综合课本内容。)
2.完成课本P71 2c
3.学习至此,同学们已经对新加坡有一定的了解。想象一下,如果你曾经去过新加坡,下周你的同学要去,你能帮他介绍一下新加坡的大体概况吗?
4.考验一下你能记住什么?What can you remember?(课本2e)不管是哪一层次的同学,只要记住哪些就写下哪些,哪怕只是一个句子。让所有同学都学会反思:本节课我学会了什么,学到了什么,还是一头雾水,一无所获。
5.writing:Write an article to advertise our hometown or a place you
have ever been to.(课标指出,通过阅读学生要有自己生成的内容。运用本节课学习的句式和表达方式,为自己的家乡或自己曾经去过的地方写一篇作文,介绍一下。为了避免很多同学不知所措,教师在写作之前呈现了自己的旅游照片和文章,抛砖引玉,引发灵感。)
四.Self-check:
课后练习,加深重点词汇的理解和运用。
五.Homework: Writing. Write an article to advertise our hometown .
运用课本3b给出的句式,给我们的家乡写一篇广告。(课上写作有很多同学没有完成,课下请他们继续完成。)

回顾这节阅读课,我有以下几点认识:
选材要难易适中,长短适中,不可高估学生能力,而要贴近学生实际生活,有趣味性,激发他们的好奇心和求知欲望,这篇文章正符合这一特点。
精心设计课堂提问,课堂提问要提问一些灵活性的思考题,或让学生探求不同的答案,培养学生发散性思维。
多媒体的作用不可替代。它能引人入胜、事半功倍。
充分利用早读时间让同学们预习单词,可以缓解课堂时间不足,任务完成困难的难题。
分层教学,是后三分之一的学生再多一点收货,依然是下一步要重点研究的课题。
