一、本模块教学目标：
1. 熟记古代中国人的四大发明（造纸，印刷术，指南针，火药），这对于全世界是个巨大的贡献。Paper (paper making), printing, compass, gunpowder
2. 四会掌握本模块八个新单词：
Invent, paper, important, printing, print, bicycle
3. 熟练掌握词形变化：z
invent—invented; print—printing(名词、现在分词)， printed (过去式)， Bicycle is called bike for short. Bike is short for bicycle.
4. 本模块在以前学习过去时态的基础上，进一步学习部分动词的过去式及其在文中的运用。
这些动词是：Invent—invented, print—printed.
5. 熟读提供的文本材料，鼓励背诵。
6. 熟练掌握习惯用语：
What a good idea! That’s right. You know. Like this.

一、教学内容:
（1）词汇: bicycle American English
句型: he invented this bicycle in 1839。
（2）歌谣
二、教学目标:
（1）学习和掌握本课的词汇和句型，要求语音规范，语调自然；
（2）能演唱歌谣，要求语音清晰，演唱大方自然；
（3）能运用本节课所学的词汇和句型描述过去的行为；
（4）通过说唱活动培养学生的学习兴趣和英语语感；
三、教学重点:
学习和运用句型: he invented this bicycle in 1839。
四、教学难点:
能够在日常生活中恰当的使用本节课所学的语言知识。
五、教学方法：
小组合作学习
六、教具准备：
录音带、单词卡片
七、教学过程：
Step 1 greetings：
T: Good afternoon, boys and girls.
S: Good afternoon.
T: Nice to meet you again.
S: Nice to meet you, too.
Step 2 warming-up activity：
Touch your nose, one, two
Shake your head, one, two
Shake your shoulders, one, two
Bend your arms, one, two
Bend your legs, one, two
Turn，turn left
Turn，turn right.
Step 3 Presentation and Practice
(1)老师依次拿出 生词卡片，带领学生复习上节课所学的中国古代的发明，并导入新课，看看其他国家的发明。.
(2)让学生带着问题听录音,然后回答问题.并板书新句型
(3)教师指着板书领读新句型.并再次听录音.
(4)教师出示写有单词的卡片,先让单个学生读,并提醒注意单词中-ed的发音,并纠正学生的读音,然后学生齐读.
(5)小组合作学习, read one by one.
(6)Play a chain game。
操练形式是:T：Who invented this bicycle？
—S1：This English man invented it。
—S2：When did he invent it？
—S3：He invented this bicycle in 1839—S4…
(7). Let`s chant
(8). Mime and say.
