一、教学目标
1.在本课中，进一步巩固运用will+动词原形来预言将要发生的动作。
2.理解并能正确运用以下三种时态：一般现在时、一般过去时和一般将来时。
3. 掌握astronaut、space、station、World Cup、Olympic Games等扩充的词汇，在讨论和交流中提高综合运用语言的能力。
二、教学流程
1. 情景导入
教师让学生拿出自己搜集或绘制的关于宇宙太空、世界杯足球赛或奥运会的图片；或组织学生观看教师设计的关于这些内容的movies，在观看和讨论的同时，展示给学生这些新的词汇。
2. 课前热身
教师可组织学生就其感兴趣的宇宙、太空、世界杯、奥运会这些话题来讨论，并发表个人对于这些内容的语言。课本P4的1a、2b、P5的4pairwork，这些内容可以有助于师生开展这些话题。
3. 合作探究
（1）整体感知
Section B 是Section A 的外延和拓展。教学过程，可先以1a开始，再到1b，师生可以用对话的形式来复习和运用一般将来时，然后可利用P4的第4部分的Pairwork对一般将来时进行进一步的讨论，加深对一般将来时的理解。2a、2b和2c分别是听、说训练，涉及到谈论过去（一般现在时）、现在（一般现在时）、将来（一般将来时）这三种时态的运用。3a是范文事例，具体的体现了本单元的语言目标Make predictions，即一般将来时的运用。3b是写作训练，可通过该部分所提示的游戏形式来完成。
