一.地位和作用
《新目标英语》教材的语言教育理念是:知识用于行动,强调语言应用,培养创新,实践能力,发展学习策略。它采用任务型语言教学模式。教材中每单元都设计一个或几个与该单元话题有关的任务,让学生在完成任务的过程中,使用英语获取信息,用英语进行交流,培养运用英语解决实际问题的能力。在这个单元,学生要学会运用形容词和副词的最高级。Section B主要是在谈论“才艺表演”的语境中使用目标语言。重点是学习关于“达人秀”的话题。对表演者进行评价,这样的主题对提高学生的评价能力很有帮助。对于一些掌握快的学生会在课上就活跃地参与到活动当中。通过各部分的学习,要求学会如何进行评价,并了解、学会基本句型的使用。教材内容从基本语言知识到语言综合知识的应用,层层递进,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生在活动中有目的的学习语言,这样对提高学生口语和交流能力很有帮助。
二 教学目标

三 重难点突破做法
(一)坚持英语教学的实践性原则,改变过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授的倾向。
根据《英语课程标准》,语言知识的学习应立足于语言实践活动,要杜绝单纯传授、讲解语言知识的做法。语言知识的教学可以采用提示、注意和观察、发现、分析、归纳、对比、总结等方式进行。教师应该有意识地组织学生参与到上述过程中,通过学习有意义的句子或篇章,将词汇、语法等教学融入到具体语境中进行呈现,使学生发现语言规律,以理解它们表达的意义并灵活运用,培养学生归纳或总结语言知识的能力。
在Section B的语法学习中,教师引导学生观察特定语境中的语言表达,从听力和对话材料的句子中观察、发现最高级构成规律,帮助他们在语境中理解其具体意义和用法。然后分析、比较,一起探究语言规律,使学生感知最高级的语法运用,逐步过渡到归纳总结,然后巩固、运用,体现对语法探究的过程。
(二)结合实际教学需要,创造性地使用教材。
《英语课程标准》中提出在教学中,教师要善于根据教学的需要,对教材加以适当的取舍和调整。教师要在准备把握教材的基础上,根据教学实际需要、学生现有水平等,对教材内容作适当的补充和删减。并且教师可以根据实际教学目的和学生学习需求,对教材中部分内容和活动进行替换,比如增加准备或提示性的步骤,从而降低学习难度。

一 《中学英语教学大纲》明确提出 “培养学生听说能力是英语教学的重要目的一,英语教学要重视听说训练和口语能力的培养”。随着教学改革的不断深入,我国的教育模式也发生了根本的变化。人们越来越注重培养学生的英语交际应用能力,提高初中英语听说课的教学效率,给广大学生创造良好的英语学习环境,对提高学生英语实际的应用能力具有重要的影响。以下,根据自己的教学,谈谈初中英语听说课的实践与反思。
二 在初中英语的课堂教学中,我尽量创造机会让学生说,在说的同时也提高了英语听的质量。我会尽量照顾到大部分的学生,引导学生共同参与英语听说课堂的教学,调动学生的学习积极性。但是在听说课教学中仍然需要注意以下问题:
1、大部分学生在英语听说技能的训练中,不能很完整的说出英语句子,个别最高级形式会出现读错的情况。这个时候我们不应该批评学生,而是应当适当降低说的难度,创设一定的情境,允许他们说出一些简单的英语词组来表达自己的意思。语言来源于生活,又运用于生活,在不同的交际环境中让学生以角色的身份来讲话,是交际运用的最有效方法,本课我开始让学生一起跟着唱Who’s the tallest?引起学生对本节课继续学习形容词副词最高级的兴趣,之后针对不好记忆的特殊最高级形式,从一个小视频中学到掌握。学生可根据所学的形容词和副词最高级内容编小对话,谈论周围熟悉的人物,进行最高级的小游戏等。学生对这种活动往往很感兴趣,课堂中都能积极参与。这样他们学会了语言同时,也学会了运用语言,并且能够更加积极的学习。
2、在英语的听说课堂教学中,学生的英语发音不够纯正,一些最高级不会读,担心读错,不敢举手回答等。这是因为学生只有在课堂教学中才进行英语的听说训练,在课堂之外就几乎没有这样的条件了。但是学生听说能力的提高只靠课上有限的时间是不够的。因此,我还要调动学生的学习积极性,采用多种作业形式,使学生能够在课下进行听说练习。我们可以举办一些英语活动,比如:英语角,英语口语比赛等,给学生创造更多听英语,说英语的机会。我还可以就听说留些适当的回家作业,比如:跟读录音、做部分听写等。同时要拓展作业的范围,使学生能接触更广泛、更丰富的听力材料。如电视、电影、讲座、采访、歌曲、故事、讲笑话。 这些听力材料都可以用于训练和培养学生的听说技能 , 提高他们的听说水平。
3、知识类课要靠讲授,技能类课一定要靠练习。英语作为一门语言,是应用性很强的技能性科学,需要大量的练习方能掌握。所以需要大量的科学的练习。美国语言学家布龙菲尔德说:“学习语言就是实践,再实践,其它方法是没有用处的。因此学生在英语听力训练过程中表现出策略的薄弱,还需要进行长期的练习。
4、在平时的听力训练中,我要引导学生捕捉听力材料中出现的某些关健词和一些中心句, 因为关健词、中心句正是反映听力材料的主要内容,只要很好的把握住了材料中的关键词与中心句,学生就能较快较好的理解听力材料。另外,教师要让学生养成边听边记的良好习惯,并对所听信息进行适当的恰当的,从而提高学生捕捉听力材料信息的能力。 三 我认识到听说课教学中存在的不足和差距。我反思了自己的听说课教学。长期以来,考试以语法知识为主,在教学中明显存在着“重知识传授,轻能力培养”的问题。有学生学了多年英语以后,仍然听不懂、说不好。在教学过程中存在着许多问题:1、部分教学活动流于形式,实效较弱 2在听后环节,老师控制性训练过多。
四 这些问题给我们提出了英语教学中新的要求,即:培养学生听、说、读、写的技能,让学生能初步使用英语进行交际。如何才能提高学生的听说能力呢?。下面就谈一下我对于初中英语听说课课堂教学的思考。如果听力教学流于形式,我们的教学的有效性就无法体现。我们教师要正确引导,帮助学生提高听力并不断进行完善。我要做到以下几点:
1、对教学对象有较充分的认识和了解。 2、对听说教材的结构和目的十分熟悉。 3、正确地使用听力材料。 4、使用英语组织教学,给学生营造一个学习语言的氛围。 5、正确对待学生在听说训练中的错误。
6、利用多种教学手段激发学习的兴趣,培养良好的听说习惯。
7、通过多种渠道,开展语言实践活动。 总之,英语听说教学当中最重要的是培养和激发学生的学习兴趣,教会学生学习方法,使其形成良好的学习策略,培养和发展学生的综合语言运用能力。我只有不断更新教学观念,提高自身素质,适应新的教学要求,探索新的教学方法,才能更好地开展英语听力教学,培养出更多更好的英语人才。
