本节课为人教版新目标英语七年级下册Unit9 What does he look like? Section A 第二课时。主要学习如何描述人的外表以及与此相关的形容词,短语和相关句型并引出本单元的语法项目——动词have/has和be以及wear/wears的用法。
本课的核心话题是谈论人的外表形象,基于学生对于人的年龄、性别、爱好等信息已经学习过,并且本课为Section A 的第二课时,所以,本节采用任务型教学模式以及翻转课堂理念,给学生创设一定的情景练习所学知识,从而巩固所学知识,培养学生组织语言的能力、解决问题的能力以及团队协作的能力。
本课教学设计中注重了学生兴趣的培养,对学生潜能的激发,尽可能的给学生创设展示自我的平台,让学生在集体合作中,发挥每个人的长处。
针对本课的教学重点和教学难点,我设计了八个任务:
课堂激趣—导入新课
采用新生入学的方式复习回顾已学的人物信息,同时引导学生使用“Is she tall?”句型。
2、复习巩固——检查词句
对学生上节所学知识让学生提问学生是一件双赢的事情,既能巩固知识,又能锻炼口语表达,增进了学生之间的交流。
3、师生互动——复习句型
课件展示我的朋友的照片,对what does he/she look like ?及其回答进一步练习,同时也为下一环节做好准备。
4、生生互动——练习巩固
学生对话询问对方的朋友长什么样,进一步练习目标语言。
5、听音辨人——火眼金睛
把2d设计成为听力材料让学生听音看图,从直观上找出Mike 的朋友David.
6、活动六:创意无限——改编剧情
此环节针对2d让学生对David 相关信息进行改动,编制出自己的对话,小组内进行表演。半开放式的任务设计,充分发挥学生的想象,锻炼学生的语言组织能力、表达能力以及知识的整合能力。
活动七: 归纳总结——解决问题
针对本节课重、难点让学生进行归纳、总结、练习,为下一环节写作做好准备。
活动八:拓展迁移——写作练习
让学生想想身边的人,想想对自己重要的人,写下他们的信息,在班中分享。此环节意在引导学生多观察别人,多关心别人。
  课堂设计上体现了任务型教学的主导思想,以任务贯穿教师教学和学生活动的各个环节。学生活动的目的明确,每个步骤教师都给出了活动所需的语言知识内容,学生亦能准确的使用目标语言,在活动中学习掌握知识。
 ??然而,课堂教学中还存在许多不足之处,如:本节课虽然侧重于学生展示,但在知识拓展方面明显不够;作文环节设计简单;教师语言不丰富等。

【教学设计】
一、设计理念:
根据新课程标准提出的“以人为本”的教学理念,把学生的发展作为课堂教学的出发点和归宿,本节采用任务型教学模式以及翻转课堂理念,在学生课下自学的前提下,给学生创设一定的情景练习所学知识。从而巩固所学知识,培养学生组织语言的能力、解决问题的能力以及团队协作的能力。
本节课程设计中注重培养学生的兴趣,激发学生的潜能,尽可能的给学生创设展示自我的平台。寓教于乐,把掌握知识,形成技能,发展能力与培养学生个性健康发展有机结合起来,让学生在集体合作中,发挥每个人的长处,使学生在合作中能互补、启发,形成立体的、交互的思维网络,产生1+1>2的效果。
设计思路
一、教材分析
1、教学内容:
本节课为人教版新目标英语七年级下册Unit9 What does he look like? Section A 第二课时。主要学习如何描述人的外表以及与此相关的形容词,短语和相关句型并引出本单元的语法项目——动词have/has和be以及wear/wears的用法。
2、教材的地位和作用:
本单元以谈论人的外貌特征为话题。从教材的整合来说,本部分具有承上启下的作用;再则,本课它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元知识扩展和综合语言运用奠定坚实的基础。因此,上好本节课,既可让知识学习具有一定的延续性,又可为下面的教学做好铺垫,为以后作可持续交际奠定基础。
3、教学重点,难点及确立依据:
本节课重点是学习表示人的外表的形容词,短语和相关句型。难点是be和have/has 以及wear/wears的区别及运用。之所以确立这些为重点,难点,因为它们是本单元的基本语言内容,同时,它们所包含的动词第三人称单数的用法又是学生平时学习中的易错点。只有掌握这些相关的单词和句型,才能进行大量的语言实践活动,才能在实际生活中运用。
二、教学目标分析
根据新课标的要求,结合教材内容及七年级学生的认知特点,我确定目标如下:
1、语言知识目标
(1) 词汇: hair, height,build, glasses,short, tall, medium, thin, heavy, brown, curly, straight, wear, be, have
(2) 短语: short hair, long hair, straight hair, curly hair, long curly hair, be of medium height, be of medium build, wear glasses, look like
(3) 句型:
--What does he/she look like?
--He/ She is tall. He/ She has curly hair. He/ She wears glasses.
2、语言技能目标
(1)能熟练的用英语对人外貌特点进行描述,并能根据人物特征推理出某一人物。
(2)能结合实际生活对所学知识进行创造性的灵活运用,提高写作水平。
(3)能和伙伴互相交流,充分交换信息,增强合作意识。
3、情感态度目标
(1)通过描述他人的外貌特点,简单地表达自己的观点或好恶,学会交换不同的看法,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。
(2) 能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务, 尽情享受学习的乐趣。
(3) 学会赏识,懂得心灵美比外表美更重要。
三、学情分析
初中生对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲望胜,而且学生已经学过对人物的姓名、年龄、爱好、职业等信息介绍的相关知识,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提,能自然地与本单元话题进行衔接。谈论人的外表形象是人们日常生活中遇到的话题。因此学生喜于用英语表达此类知识。
四、教法、学法设计
1.教法说明
(1)任务型语言教学法:设计多种任务活动,提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间,促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作,为完成任务进行探究学习(为用而学,在用中学,学了能用)。
(2)开放性教学法:我开放性地处理教材,采用创设情景,问题牵引,主动探究,综合提高的教学模式。丰富学生知识,拓宽他们视野,实现知识的整合。
2.学法
(1)自主学习:能根据需要进行有目的预习,使其对教师的教学内容起补充作用。
(2)合作探究学习:在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作,从而获得知识、技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力。
五、 教学流程
活动一:课堂激趣—导入新课
采用新生入学的方式复习回顾已学的人物信息,同时引导学生使用“Is she tall?”句型。

活动二:复习巩固——检查词句

检查完后,采用chant的形式进行小结,增加记忆,缓解紧张的气氛
活动三:师生互动——复习句型
课件展示我的朋友的照片,对what does he/she look like ?及其回答进一步练习,同时也为下一环节做好准备。
活动四:生生互动——练习巩固

【教材分析】 本单元的教学核心项目是“描述人的外貌”,涉及到讨论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及其着装等语言项目。教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开,让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点,以人的外貌特征为主线,兼顾交际功能的学习,以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征。这些内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,所以在学习活动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。 Section A从根据人的外貌特征找人,来呈现与此相关的形容词、短语到听力练习,让学生学会描述人的外貌,引出本单元的语法项目have动词 、be动词和wear动词的用法,到句型操练,语言目标层层递进,主要展示了重点句型: What does he/she look like?? He/She is tall. He/She has curly hair. What do you/they look like??? I’m thin. /They’re medium height.
