本部分选自人教版九年级第六单元When was it invented。本课属于阅读课,教学内容内容紧扣住本单元的话题,即invention。课文主要围绕风靡全球的篮球动这一主题,包括篮球运动的历史、篮球比赛的规则、打篮球所需的设备、篮球的流行趋势等。围绕“basketball”(篮球),让学生掌握本文大意及文中所包含的语言知识,并渗透“热爱体育,珍惜生命”的德育理念,增强学生的社会荣誉感及爱国主义教育。通过本课阅读教学,让学生初步掌握“mind-mapping”学习策略,学会信息与图像的转换。阅读技巧方面培养学生抓住关键词,找出中心句,划分段落层次,学会写出总结(summary),提升学生综合技能。本单元的语法点是被动语态,文中出现了大量的被动语态的句子,通过阅读文章,学生能有效的感悟被动语态的用法。




大部分学生热爱篮球运动,对本话题感兴趣,而且九年级学生已经具备一定的语言自主学习能力,能通过教师创设的景迅速运用词汇。通过前部分的学习,学生基本掌握了被动语态的用法,因此本篇阅读中出现的多处被动语态的句子对学生来说已不是障碍,而出现的生词需要学生认。运用思维导图方式复述课文,并能流畅准确地表达对学生来说是难点。

课后反思
这是一篇英语阅读教学课文,掌握英语阅读技巧和培养学生英语阅读能力是英语教师教学的一个重要内容,不管是从学习英语的目的或者应用来看,还是学生英语考试来看,能快速准确地理解英语短文,是非常重要的。因此在教学中,本节课教学主要是以学生为主的自主学习和任务型教学为主,让学生在这个过程中以小组竞争的形式体验阅读的乐趣并让学生掌握阅读策略,并且重在培养学英语生阅读的好习惯和提高学生的英语阅读能力。
这节课还算顺利,学生学得很轻松,老师也很轻松。通过这节课我深刻的认识到:任务型教学法的正确使用和学生为中心的教学理念指导思想观念是教学策略的核心和灵魂。任何一种教学策略的运用都是教师教学思想的具体化和操作化。
根据初中三年级的学生英语学习情况,以及他们的生理和心理特点,如上课不太积极,不爱举手发言等,以及本课教学内容多,容量大,阅读课文教学气氛比较单调乏味等特点,我采取了任务型教学和激励教学法,调动了学生的学习积极性,让他们主动参与课堂,从而轻松阅读并理解文章。任务型教学具有一定目的性,自主性,意义性和实际性,本课又与学生周边的真实情景相联系,所以采用任务型教学非常有效。
第二个亮点是以学生自主学习为主要形式,采取小组合作和竞争学习形式,充分发挥学生的学习主动性和竞争性。以及听、说、读、写结合的学习方法,为了培养学生学习英语的综合能力,我将在教学中引导学生专心听,学会跟读和正确发音,鼓励学生大胆说,积极回答问题、指导学生如何阅读英语短文和掌握阅读技巧,通过写巩固所学内容并达到学以致用。
不足之处:时间比较紧促,给学生自由发挥和表现的时间还不够。以后备课要合理安排教学步骤,稍稍提高讲解速度,真正地提高教学效率和学生的学习效率。
