(一)教材内容介绍
本课是新人教版七年级上册第1单元复习课时,教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开,让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型特点。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。
(二)教学目标
依据新课程标准三维目标的要求,我将从三个方面阐述本节课的教学目标:
1.知识与技能目标:复习描述人物外表的单词和重点句型。用恰当的句型词汇谈论自己和周围人的外表长相。
2. 过程与方法: 积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。以及积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
3. 情感、态度和价值观:在与同伴和小组任务中学会积极参活动与并懂得与他人合作;并了解不可以貌取人的道理。
(三)教学重难点
本课的教学重点是要求学生掌握描述他人外貌体态的单词短语及句型;本课的难点主要在于学生正确选择be 动词 和实意动词have/has来搭配不同的描述性单词和短语;所以在教学设计上,我会运用听,说,读,写等多种方式,让学生反复操练以突破难点。

  这是本单元复习课的教学内容,新单词已经处理了,学生掌握的比较好,学生配合我的教学设计已经完成本课时的学习任务,总的来说,他们掌握了目标语言,What do you/they look like?What does he/she?look like? 以及答语。但是在小组活动中,学生参与度不够高,所以部分学生没能灵活运用这些目标语言,在今后的教学过程中,要面向全体学生,不落下任何一个学生,让他们先小组练习对话,然后再分成四个大组进行比赛,多想办法,多运用竞争方法激励学生积极参与,奖罚分明,缩小生生之间的差距,从而提高教学效果。另外,在练习句型时,少数学生对新单词不太熟练,所以我在复习环节增加了单词听写,以巩固上节课的学习效果,为学生在本课时的学习创造有利条件,让他们更能轻松学习目标语言,体会学习英语的小小成就感,保持学习英语的恒温兴趣,树立我能学好英语的信心。
  在本堂课中,我还存在以下几方面问题。最大的问题是板书未能有条理性在写在黑板上,重要的句子未板书,只是让学生翻译,读,一方面,光让学生说,未必学生真的能够理解透知识点,好多学生处于一知半解状态。另一方面,学生不清楚哪些该记哪些不该记,提问的时候大多数是全班整体回答,未能顾及到不同层面的学生。此外还有发图片做小组活动group work未必及时地进行report汇报。整堂课给人一种前紧后松的感觉。这些问题也是在我平时的课堂中容易忽视的问题,今天的评课让我明白了这些问题的严重性,在今后的教学中我会尽量避免这些情况的发生

一、教学课型:单元复习课
二、教学目标:

 教学过程:(Teaching Procedures)
Step 1: Greeting and Lead-in(3 minutes)
T: Today, I am very happy to be here to give you a lesson, I’m Miss Zheng. Nice to meet you! Show a picture of myself (a picture when i was in coiiege) and ask the stuents what do i look like, then show the topic of unit 1.
Step 2: Presentation(18 minutes)
1、Show pictures to present one type of describing people’s looks(long hair).
2、Review the important words (long hair)and the target language through the pictures: What do they look like?
3、Get Ss to drill the sentences by asking and answering the question: What does she/he look like?
4、Use almost the same steps as above to present other types of describing people’s looks and make Ss drill the target language.
Step 3: Consolidation (6 minutes).
1、Ask several Ss to read these words, target language and describe the people’s looks according to the pictures (3minutes)
2、(1)Get the class to do a simple quiz quickly, then check the answer with whole class..
Step 4. Pair work(5 minutes)
1、Ask Ss to talk about their friends and make dialogues like this:
A: What does your friend look like?
B: Well, she is tall and thin,and she has long black hair. She is beautiful.
Then ask several pairs to act their dialogues out.
Step 5 Summary. The differences of “is and have/has” (2minutes)
