Teaching Procedure
Step One: Organization
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song: Do you have any staples
3. Free talk. (Pupils ask and answer some items that they prepare for.)
Step Two: Revision
1. Use the real things to ask and answer with the pupils.
2. Revise the new words in this unit.
3. Revise the sentence structures.
Step Three: Presentation
1. Ask some pupils to come to the front , let them hold some items.
2. Ask individual pupils to answer the questions based on the pictures.
3. Write down the answer and check together.
4. Teach the sound: t /t/ and the words (pet cat carrot bat rabbit parrot) with pictures and cards.
5. Listen to Part Two for twice and repeat.
6. Read it in pairs and groups.
Step Four: Practice and summary.
1. Revise the words together.
2. Play a game: Listen and touch the words on the blackboard.
3. Do the exercises in Writing Book in Unit Two.
4. Check the exercises in Unit Two.
5. Ask some pupils to talk about the points in this unit.
Step Five: Homework
1. Read this unit for three times.
2. Revise this unit.
3. Get ready for the next unit.
Today’s homework: copy the new words and read the sentences .
