Unit 2 Lesson 11 Restaurant and Market
1、 教研主题:
以激发学生学英语爱好为突破口，提高英语教学有效性。
二、 教材分析:
单元主要内容:在本单元中，学生要学到单词restaurant和各类商店以及与这些场所相关职业的许多单词。本单元还为学生在第1单元中所学短语增添了一些概念，而且介绍了有关购物和以why提问的新概念。同时，本单元也介绍了一年中各个月份以及和气候有关的基本词汇。
三、 教学目标:
1. 语言知识：
a正确听、说、读、写、用restaurant, 认读单词market, movie theatre。
b正确使用句型：Let’s go to the ____to ____ ____.来表达想要去哪干什么。
2. 语言技能：
通过游戏、表演、歌谣等活动，培养学生语言运用能力，创造力。使学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异。能把所学的应用到日常交际生活中去，在适时环境中能够灵活运用。
3. 情感态度：
关注学生的喜好、需求，营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围。通过多样性的活动，激发学生学习英语的爱好，调动积极性，使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功，感受乐趣，树立自信心，促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。
四、 教学重、难点：
1. 能够正确地听读写使用单词：restaurant, market, movie theatre.
2. 能够正确使用句型Let’s go to a __ to __ __.来表述想要去哪，干什么。辨别它们之间的关系。

录音机、图片、小黑板
六、 教学过程：
Step 1 Class opening and Review
1. GREETING
T: Hello, everyone. How are you
Ss: Fine, thanks. How are you
T: I’m fine, thank you.
（用学生所学过的日常用语问候学生，培养学生在不知不觉中使用日常用语的习惯。 ）
2. MATCH
全班分成“apple”, “orange”, “banana”三队，以小组竞赛的形式完成连线.然后操练句型：I want to buy .Let’s to the.
Bicycle toy shop
Book clothes shop
Toy bicycle shop
Dress book shop
（本课的句型涉及到许多活动，用这个竞赛复习活动，小竞赛是学生非常喜爱的形式，可以活跃课堂气氛，激励学生学习。）
Step 2 New Concepts:
1. Restaurant, market, movie theatre.
(1).Show a picture of restaurant. Teach and Practice the word restaurant with the dialogue:
T: I’m hungry. I want to eat a hamburger. Let’s go to a restaurant. Do you like hamburger
S: Yes.
T：Look! Here is a restaurant. Say it, please. Restaurant.
S: Restaurant.
Write restaurant, market and movie theatre on the blackboard as me and the students say them a few times.
(用图片出示Restaurant, market, movie theatre .可以更生动直观地介绍三个词，加深学生对词的印象。)
多种朗读练习。如开火车、男生、女生分读。
Listen to the tape
第一遍听，第二遍跟读。
(2). Model the following structure.
T: Do you like to go to a restaurant
S: Yes.
T：Now, let’s go to a restaurant to eat hamburger.
Say it, please.
S: Let’s go to the restaurant to eat hamburger.
Write let’s go to the __ to ___ ___. On the blackboard
讲解短语 watch a movie
Use word-cards to show structures like this where words are substituted.
(3). Practice：Match the words.
Library eat ice cream
restaurant buy vegetables
movie theatre watch a movie
market play a game
gym read a book
(4). Play a game
Play this game to review the words restaurant, market, movie theatre .show the pictures slowly, the students guess them quickly.
Let’s go to the ____ to____ _____.
（图片缓慢出示几个地点的单词，通过猜地点游戏来复习巩固学生刚刚学过三个单词及原来学过的地点的单词，学生通过这紧张，刺激的游戏，锻炼学生的快速反应能力。）

Show the questions first, then listen and look at the dialogue .
Questions:
Where are Jenny and Danny
What does Jenny want to do
What does Danny want to do
Does Danny like to go shopping for dresses
（先提出问题，让学生带着问题，听录音中的对话，可以锻炼学生的听说能力。）
Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.
