一、Teaching aim
1.认识字母表，会唱字母歌。
2.能在听的过程中从语句中辨别出单词like, song, jigsaw, toy, bike。
3.激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
二、Teaching contents

Function: Reciting the alphabet
Language: The alphabet
Vocabulary: apple, bat, car, cat
Letter formation: Aa, Bb, Cc
三、Teaching course
1.Greetings
Good morning/afternoon boys and girls .How are you How old are you
Nice to see you again.
The Ss greet me at the same time.
2. Warmer
1)Play “Animal sounds”. Make an animal sound and ask What’s this The class call out the animal. Then ask the children to produce the noises.
2)Sing “Old Macdonald has a zoo ” from level 1,module 6.
3. Activity 1
1)Listen and point: Say open your books on page 2.Hould up your book to show the children the correct page.
2)Ask the children to look at the page and to guess what they can see. Answer :the English alphabet .
3)Play the cassette. The children listen to Sam singing the Alphabet Song. Explain that this is a traditional English song and that English children all learn to recite the alphabet using this song.
4) Play the cassette again .The children listen to the song and point to each letter as they hear it .Demonstrate by holding up my book.
5)Play the cassette again. Pause after each line of the song .Ask the children to repeat.
6)Continue line by line for the rest of the song.
4.Activity 2
1) Now sing. Play the cassette again. Ask the children to sing along . Ask them to point to each letter as they sing.
2)Divide the class into groups. Give each group a line of the song .Play the cassette again. This time each group only sing its ascribed line of the song.
四.Homework
Work in Activity Book .Finish the exercise of page 2and 3. It is a game to join the letters in correct order and speak out “What is it ”
