Unit 2 Lesson 15 Jenny goes to the city
一、教学目标:
1.知识与技能目标:
学生听懂并掌握Where are you going 回答:to the grocery store 及短语:drive a car, ride a bicycle, stay home.
2.过程与方法目标:
在教学过程中引导学生体验、实践、合作和总结知识要点,充分培养他们的合作学习精神和自主学习的能力,促进学生的实践能力和创新思维的发展。
3.情感态度价值观目标:
通过多样的游戏和活动,使学生在一个个具体的、可以实现的任务驱动下体验快乐和成功,激发学生学习英语的热情,培养运用语言进行交际的能力。鼓励学生之间的合作并能互相帮助。
二、教学重点、难点:
重点:Where are you going
难点:Where are you going 的回答to the 地方to do sth.
三、教具、学具:
自行车,购物袋,新裙子、冰激凌盒。
四、教学资源:
1.英语购物用语:
如果你在讲英语国家的商店购物,则一定要掌握好用英语购物的用语,下面是一些在购物时常用的购物用语,一起来学学吧!
(1)售货员招呼顾客:
在讲英语国家的商店里,售货员见到顾客时常说:
1)May I help you? 您买东西吗?
2)Can I help you?/ What can I do for you?您想买什么?
3)Is there anything I can do for you
4)May(Can)I do something for you
店主或店员想了解顾客想要什么,喜欢什么或向顾客推荐物品时的用语:
Which shirt(pen…)do you like 你想买哪一种衬衫(笔…)
What size(colour, kind…)do you want 你想买哪种型号(颜色,种类…)
Do you like this size(colour, kind…) 你喜欢这种型号(颜色,种类…)吗?
Is this (Are these) all right 这个(这些)可以吗?
What about these (those) 这些(那些)怎么样?
What else would you like 你想要点什么?
(2)顾客告诉售货员想买什么
1)如果顾客需要购物可以说:
a. I am looking for a red coat. 我想买一件红衣服。
b. I want to get a pair of sunglasses. 我想买一副太阳镜。
2)如果你只想逛商店可以说:
No,thanks. I'm just looking around. /Just have a look. 不,谢谢了。我只是随便看看而已。顾客向店主或店员询问价钱或讨价还价时,可以说:How much is it (are they) 多少钱?

五、教学过程:
Step 1:问候:
Sing a song.
Play the audiotape and with the actions.
Step 2:操练:
Review the student let’s go to the
For example, write the structure on the blackboard and hold up pictures, or point to signs, to help the students fill the blanks.(活跃课堂气氛,激发学生学习的兴趣。)
For example:
T: let’s go to the … S: … restaurant …
T: …to S: …eat
Step 3:新授:
Where are you going
教师推着自行车,拿着购物袋,装作去购物,让一学习好的同学问。
S1: Where are you going
T: To the market(去市场),I want to buy some vegetables.(我想买些蔬菜)重复对话几遍,充分调动学生的积极性,体现学生学习的主动性。
Step 4:练习
找几个同学作对话练习。(给学生提供应用与展示的机会,并要求其他学生认真倾听,学习他人的优点。)
T: Where are you going
S1: to the shop. I want to buy a new dress.
T: Where are you going
S2: to the grocery store. I want to buy some ice cream.
学生分组练习对话Where are you going (利用学生手中的学具,自编对话,培养学生的创造能力。)
S1: Where are you going
S2: to the shop. I want to buy some books.
S3: Where are you going
S4: to the shop. I want to buy some pencils.
S5: Where are you going
S6: to the restaurant. I want to buy some food.
Step 5:听录音
学生跟录音朗读课文。
Step 6:学习What are they doing
根据书中图画进行问答练习。
T: Look at picture.(教师自问自答)
Where are Mr. and Mrs. Smith in
They are in a car.
What is Mr. doing
He is driving.
He’s driving a car.
T: Look at picture 2.
What is Jenny doing
S1: She’s riding a bicycle.
T: Yes, she’s riding a bicycle.
T: Where are Mr. Mrs. Smith and their children
T: They are at home.
T: They stay home.(stay home 可让同学们自己说出)
