一、Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings. (师生间简单地打招呼。)
2. Look and say.

二、Presentation
1. Look, listen and say
(1) Watch and answer出示幻灯片第4页，老师告诉学生They are talking about Chinatown.【来源：21·世纪·教育·网】
(2) Let’s watch. 观看Flash，熟悉课文。
(3)看课文，听录音并跟读，注意模仿语音语调
2. Listen and read
(1) Watch andanswer. 出示课文插图，提出问题：What is Daming doing 引导学生讨论大胆猜测。接着提问What is he doing 让学生带着问题来学课文。
(2)出示第8.9.10页ppt，听课文，同时注意there be的用法。
(3)Let’s answer. 通过对课文的印象试着来回答这些问题。
(4)讲解文本，突破重难点：
There be句型
There be 是英语中常用句型， 意思是“有”，表示“人或事物的存在”。There be 后面的名词是句子的主语，属倒装结构。表达“某个地方或某个时间存在某人某物”的时候常用：There be + 名词+ 地点（时间）。 www.21-cn-jy.com
根据一首歌来巩固对there be句型的认识：
There is, there are,表示“有”时就用它。
一般疑问句子中，Is和Are来当家。
表示“没有”怎么办，有个not别忘加。
要是问我加哪里，就在is和are后面啊。
some, any是兄弟，两人脾气各不同，
疑问否定用any，肯定句中用some.
要我们用心记，学好英语很容易.

6. 完成幻灯片中相应的课堂练习。
