一、教学目标:
1. 知识目标:
(1)学习动物词汇lion ,tiger ,elephant ,kangaroo;描述动物特征的词汇mane , stripes ,trunk ,pouch.

What has___ A___has___
2. 能力目标:
(1)能够听、说、读、写lion ,tiger ,elephant ,kangaroo;认识并能听、说mane, stripes ,trunk ,pouch.
(2)能够听、说并且准确运用句型Does a___ have___ Yes. /No. A ___has___
What has___ A___has___.与人交流。
(3)能够在真实情境中运用本课所学知识与人交流。

Step1.Warming-up and Revision
Greetings and Free Talk
T: Hello! Boys and girls.
S: Hello! Teacher.
T: Do you like animals
S: Yes, we like animals.
T: Look at the screen and say the name of the animals quickly.
Let’s see who is fast and correct
(大屏幕快速出现动物图片,引导学生们说出它们的名字cat, chicken, cow, dog, duck, goat, pig, sheep,复习以前学过的动物词汇,同时自然导入下一环节的教学)
T: Yon are excellent. Where do they live
S: On a farm.
T: I know some animals, they don’t live on a farm, and they live in a zoo.
Step2. Presentation and Practice
1. T: Today let’s learn some animals at the zoo. Look, this is a zoo. Listen carefully, who is coming
(大屏幕上呈现动物园的图片,让学生认真听老虎咆哮的声音,自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger)
(电脑屏幕上呈现狮子的一部分,让学生去猜测,并引出lion,呈现大象生活的地方,教师提问Who lives here 引出elephant, 呈现袋鼠从远方跳过来的情景,教师问Look carefully, who is coming 引出kangaroo)
Read and spell the new words “lion, tiger, elephant, kangaroo”. Ask and answer “What is it It is a/an___. ”强调elephant前面要用an.
2. Mane, stripes, trunk, pouch.
(电脑屏幕点击即闪动不同动物身上的特征,辅助教学)
T: What animal do you like, lion, tiger, elephant or kangaroo
S: I like lion.
T: Look, what does a lion have
A lion has a mane.呈现单词mane和新句型A has .
师生问答,生生问答:What does a lion have
A lion has a mane.
教学A tiger has stripes . An elephant has a trunk. A kangaroo has a pouch. 同上。
Game:教师说动物名称,让学生快速说出动物身上的特征或教师说出特征词,学生说动物词,使学生巩固本课新教授词汇的学习,并训练学生的快速反应和英语思维。

What has fur A tiger has fur./ A kangaroo has fur.

本环节教师为学生提示一些范例,让学生两人一组操练句型What has A/An has .注意引导学生对本课知识的拓展,教师可以提示一些描述特征的词汇,如:tail,sharp, teeth…
3. Does a___ have___ Yes. / No. A ___has___.
电脑屏幕上教师为袋鼠加上条纹,为大象加上皮毛,为老虎加上育儿袋…激起学生求知欲和表达的欲望,教师适时呈现新句型,一定能取得好的效果。
T: Look! Does a kangaroo have stripes
S1: No! A tiger has stripes.
T: Does an elephant have fur
S2: No! A tiger has fur.
T: Does A tiger have a pouch
S3: No! A kangaroo has a pouch.
T: Do you have any questions
(教师引导学生自己问一些问题,开动脑筋,结合以前学过的知识,教师可以提示tail, paws, wings, feathers, beak…培养学生综合语言运用能力)
Step3 Consolidation
Practice in pair; make a dialogue about one animal at the zoo. Like:
S1: What is it
S2: It’s a kangaroo.
S1: Do you like kangaroos
S2: Yes, I do.
S1: Does a kangaroo have fur
S2: Yes. A kangaroo has fur.
S1: Does a kangaroo have a trunk
S2: No. A kangaroo has a pouch.
S1: What has a trunk
S2: An elephant has a trunk.
Ask volunteers to show their dialogues.
T: Animals are our friends. We should love animals for ever. Let’s do it together.
Step4. Homework:
Draw your favorite animal at the zoo and write something about it.
