一、 教材分析:
1、 教材的地位及作用:
  本单元围绕比较级,对围绕描述人的个性,友谊等开展多种教学活动,让学生能用一些单音节形容词、多音节形容词的比较级来对不同的双胞胎进行比较。同时通过pairwork和groupwork 进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的综合能力。
2、教学目标:(知识目标、能力目标、情感目标)
知识目标:
(1)学习单词:outgoing, fantastic, loudly, both, better, quietly, hard-working, clearly, talented,
truly, serious, necessary, mirror, grade, reach, hand , touch, heart, share, similar, information,primary school, the same as, in fact, as long as
(2) 掌握单音节和多音节形容词的比较级并能用比较级表述事物。
(3) 掌握句子 :
Tina is taller than Tara. And she also sings more loudly than Tara.
Peter’s heavier than Paul. And he plays the guitar better.
能力目标:
(1) 学会用比较级描述一个人的个性。
(2) 学会对某件事发表自己的观点。
(3) 提高学生听、说、读、写及知识自学的综合能力。加强学生语感方面训练,使学生能灵活运用所学英语进行口语表达。

二、 教法:
为了更好的突出重点,突破难点,我主要采用了:
1、任务型教学法:新课标倡导的“玩中学,学中玩”的理念很受学生欢迎。
2、 竞赛教学法:根据初中生争强好胜的性格特征,我每堂课都进行俩俩对话,激发学生兴趣,给学生创造外语语言氛围,培养学生集体荣誉感。
三、学法:
1、 善于抓住用英语交际的机会,充分感知,积极体验,大胆实践。例如在本课中设计了几次pairwork (每人都有机会),groupwork(每组一次机会)。
2、 积极参与,善于合作。例如本课设计了几个任务,操作简单,学生一定很感兴趣并且积极参与,从而合作完成任务,培养了团队精神。

【课中探究】
1.语法聚焦:形容词和副词的比较等级(一)。
大多数形容词和副词有三个等级:1.原级,即原形。2. 比较级,表示“较...”或“更...一些”。3. 最高级,表示“最...’。
(我们在比较两个人和事物的特点、性质、状态等时时候,会用到形容词的比较等级。如:Lisa is much taller than Lily.丽萨比丽丽高得多。这里,tall 就是一个形容词,taller就是它的比较级;
比较两个人的动作状况的时候,会用到副词的比较等级。如:Tina sings more loudly than Tara. 这里,loudly 就是一个副词,more loudly 就是它的比较级。同学们想一想,为什么loudly 的比较级不是在词尾加er,而是在原形前面加more呢?请告诉同学们你的想法:
比较级:表示两个人或无之间的比较。表示“较…” 或“更……一些”。标志词:than( 比)
句型结构: A+ be +________词的比较级+ than + B ;
A + 实意动词+ _______词的比较级 + than +B
Which /Who + be + ______词的比较级, A or B?
Which / Who +实意动词 + ____词的比较级, A or B?
( 两个人或事物比较,也不一定都用到形容词和副词的比较级。我们也可以用as ...as 或 not as/so .....as 来表示。
如:Tara works as hard as Tina. Tara工作和Tina一样努力。
“as+形容词/副词的____+as”表示“与……一样”
规则形容词或副词的比较级规则变化口诀:
比较级,要变化,一般词尾加er ; 词尾要有哑音e, 直接加r 就可以 ;
重读闭音节, 单辅音字母要双写; 辅音字母若加y, 记得把y变为i。
(2)多音节或部分双音节的形容词,如outgoing,hard-working,在前面加more.

2.知识精讲: That’s Tara, isn’t it? 那是塔拉,对吗?
此句是在That’s Tara.这一陈述之后添了一个附着的简略疑问结构,用以进行确认。在语法上,这种句式被称作“附加疑问句”。通常情况下,若陈述部分为肯定,便用否定形式进行提问;若陈述部分为否定,便用肯定形式来进行提问。如:There’s someone in the room ,isn’t there? 房间里有人,是吧? We can’t say it this way, can we? 我们不能这样说,对不对?

SectionA课后反思
当代教学提倡“教为主导,学为主体”的课堂教育理念,注重对学生自主学习、合作学习的能力。这节英语课上,我用引入对话情景――练习操作――总结归纳——提出质疑――小组合作解疑――巩固总结来进行的。  
一、首先, 我通过呈现一系列的图片,让学生进行比较两个事物的不同,训练和总结形容词和副词的比较级。
二、本节课通过观察、描述,总结、对话、听录音读等方法让学生进行句型和语法的训练,并让学生 利用群学,对学,独学等形式来学习,让学生在练中学,在学中练,既学到了语法,又提高听、说能力,更重要的是提高了学生的口语交际能力。  
三、让学生把自己看作是课堂的主人,充分发挥他们小组的积极作用,让他们大胆发言,而不仅仅是拘泥于老师的讲授和老师被动地接受知识。有简单的问题组内统一解决,这样既节约了时间,也让学生体会自己学习知识的快乐。
