二、学情分析
本单元的主体是发出邀请,接受邀请及拒绝邀请。围绕这一主体进行一系列的交际活动,使学生熟练掌握以Can开头的一般疑问句并正确使用。Sure, I’d love to./ I am sorry, I can’t. I have to/must...等表示接受和拒绝邀请。再次之前,学生已接触过can,have to/must, would love to 等的用法。
三、重点难点
1.教学重点:
有关邀请、接收、拒绝参加派对的交际用语以及恰当的语调。
2.教学难点:
由于跨文化交际的问题,学生可能对派对以及如何正确恰当地邀请、接收、拒绝参加派对的表达法以及语调产生困难。

任务活动:HOT POTATO
教师提前准备好游戏中用到的道具:小苹果伴奏、音乐播放器、一个Hot potato。其中Hot potato是一个由五层彩纸卷成的球,每层彩纸上一个问题:1.What is you name?
2. How old are you?
3. When is your birthday?
4. Do you like parties?
5.Liu yuheng’s birthday is coming. Please say something to her.
游戏的规则是:音乐起,迅速把球传给下一位同学;音乐停,拿到球的同学回答问题。
认真听懂游戏的规则,音乐停时拿到HOT POTATO的同学认真回答彩纸上的问题。
以学生非常喜闻乐见的游戏导入,引入本单元的主题“Can you come to my party?”。给学生创造真实情景游戏使得课堂气氛更加活跃

1.导入。导入部分是一个小游戏——Hot potatoes.这个小游戏在课前有效地活跃了课堂气氛,轻松导入本节课主要的话题——party。因为对于中国学生来说(尤其是我校作为农村学校),学生们接触到聚会的机会还是很少的,这样的话题导入拉近了学生和该话题的距离。
2.课堂指令。相对于常态课来说,本节课采用了全英授课。在此过程中发现相当吃力,往往得带着手势重复一下学生才能大体理解。学生实在听不懂时,就用例子来展示,也不失为一种很好的策略。
3.教学形式。设计各种各样的活动来操练。本节课分小组,分男女,排火车等各种各样活动。
Can you come to my party? 教材分析
1.本单元的特点:本单元以Can you come to my party?”为中心话题,围绕“发出,接受,拒绝邀请”展开,分为SectionA, SectionB, Self Check三个部分。本单元内容与实际生活息息相关,是学生感兴趣的话题,是对情态动词can引导的一般疑问句的进一步学习,又是对谈论已有的计划或安排的巩固。
2.本课时的特点:1a-1c是本单元的导入部分,主要通过邀请别人参加聚会的图文及听力活动导入单元话题,要求学生掌握prepare for an exam,have the flu等短语,学会使用“Can you come to...? Sure, I’d love to./Sorry, I can’t. I have to...等句型进行有效交际。活动1a主要呈现话题词汇短语和基本句型,1b通过听力练习加深学生对单元重点句型和词汇短语的认知,1c则要求学生结合主题图内容展开问答活动,完成简单的语言输出。
2a-2b部分是听说教学。本部分的听力材料巩固和拓展了1a-1c的语言输出,增加了I am not free./ I am not available./ I’m afraid not.等委婉拒绝对方的表达方式,拓展了关于邀请的内容,使交际更真实。听力活动按梯度设计,2a部分引导学生关注五位任务是否能参加聚会,2b部分再引导学生关注不能参加的学生姓名及原因。
