当代教学提倡“教为主导，学为主体”的课堂教育理念，注重对学生自主学习、合作学习的能力。这节英语课上，我用自学交流――练习操作――提出质疑――小组合作解疑――巩固总结来进行的。
一、首先， 我通过让学生听一首歌猜歌名，学歌曲引出朋友”这个主题，再通过问题导入，导入本节课话题：What kind of friends do you want?
二、本节课通过听读，快读，细读等方法让学生进行阅读的训练，并让学生 利用群学，对学，独学等形式来学习，让学生在练中学，在学中练，既学到了语法，又提高阅读能力，更重要的是提高了学生的口语交际能力。
三、让学生把自己看作是课堂的主人，充分发挥他们小组的积极作用，让他们大胆发言，而不仅仅是拘泥于老师的讲授和老师被动地接受知识。有简单的问题组内统一解决，这样既节约了时间，也让学生体会自己学习知识的快乐。

一、 教材分析：
1、 教材的地位及作用：
本单元围绕比较级，对围绕描述人的个性，友谊等开展多种教学活动，让学生能用一些单音节形容词、多音节形容词的比较级来对比自己和朋友的不同点及自己对选择朋友的观点。同时通过pairwork和groupwork 进一步提高学生听、说、读、写的综合能力。
2、教学目标：(知识目标、能力目标、情感目标)
知识目标：
