万圣节在每年的10月31日,是西方传统节日。万圣节源自古代凯尔特民族的新年节庆,此时也是祭祀亡魂的时刻,在避免恶灵干扰的同时,也以食物祭拜祖灵及善灵以祈平安渡过严冬。
万圣节前夜起源于与邪恶幽灵相关的庆祝活动,所以骑着扫帚的女巫、幽灵、小妖精和骷髅都是万圣节的标志物。蝙蝠、猫头鹰和其他夜间活动的动物也是万圣节的普遍标志。起初,这些动物让人觉得非常可怕,因为人们认为这些动物能和死者的幽灵进行交流。如今的万圣节充满了喜庆意味。
南瓜灯是庆祝万圣节的标志物。传说有一个名叫杰克的人非常吝啬,因而死后不能进入天堂,而且因为他取笑魔鬼也不能进入地狱,所以,他只能提着灯笼四处游荡,直到审判日那天。人们为了在万圣节前夜吓走这些游魂,便用芜菁(wú jīng)、甜菜或马铃薯雕刻成可怕的面孔来代表提着灯笼的杰克,这就是南瓜灯的由来。
黑猫也是万圣节的标志物,并且也有一定的宗教起源。人们认为黑猫可以转生,具有预言未来的超能力。在中世纪,人们认为女巫可以变成黑猫,所以人们一看到黑猫就会认为它是女巫假扮的。这些标志物都是万圣节服装的普遍选择,也是贺卡或橱窗上很常用的装饰。

在本节课中,我围绕本课的主题及中考的知识点、易混点深入浅出的讲解,而且讲练结合。 运用“任务型教学方法”,巧妙地运用一个个任务让学生感知、剖析。我们还利用同伴合作Pair work. Group work. 等练习方式,提高学生的课堂体验和参与度,学会合作学习。
这节课需要改进的很多。
1.各环节尽管很流畅,但是教学方法单一,没能充分调动学生的学习兴趣。
2.因为时间仓促,小组展示的时间不充足。
3.课堂气氛不活跃,特别是学习稍差和内向的学生,不能真正的融入课堂
4.语法也只是一带而过,讲解不透彻,而且相应的巩固训练没设置。。
5.教学活动较少。
6.英语口语有待提高。
7.当堂检测设计的题目不典型。
8.具体操作还有很多瑕疵和不足,很遗憾的是,本节课原本设计的“Trick or treat”小视频没链接好,因此在课堂上没能播放.
总之,要在不断的反思中成长提高。
