通过本节课的教学实践,我认识到教学成功与否,学生掌握程度如何,关建在于教师如何创造性地设计课堂教学。任务的设计要体现多样化和层次感;面对不同的学生群体,任务的难度系数是可以调控的;而面对同一群体里的不同程度的学生,教师可以抓住学生的心理特点,一开始就用他们乐于参与到课堂中去,调动学生的积极性和主动性,同时起到了复习的作用.
本单元学习的内容是一般过去时，要求学生用一般过去时来谈论周末。树立享受生活，热爱大自然地情感。对于时态，基本掌握，但是在一般过去时句型转换和不规则动词过去式变化方面容易出错，有待加强训练。
课堂上尽量让学生生动起来，加强小组合作学习和小组竞争，鼓励学生自主学习，使学生对英语学习充满热情。
端正学生学习态度，避免上课打瞌睡，不认真听等情况，及时采取措施，督促学生，和学生交谈，使用鼓励和赞美的方式使他们转化心思到学习上来。
分层次教学，有的放矢，是各个层次的学生都有好的收获。
精选课后作业，注意量和度，事半功倍。
合理有效的安排时间。
