First, they took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside. There they put up their tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food. The first night, they just sat under the moon and told each stories. But Lisa was so tired that she went to sleep early. The next morning, Lisa and her sister got a terrible surprise. When they looked out of the tent, they saw a big snake sleeping near the fire. She was so scared that she couldn’t move. They shouted to their parents to let them know about the danger. Her dad started to jump up and down in their tent. This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake. Her dad told her later that snakes don’t have ears but they can feel things moving. He also told her it was important not to go near a snake. This was a very useful lesson for her. 教材分析:
在学生初步了解一般过去时态之后,让学生体会一般过去时的运用。让学生阅读篇短文,划出文章中所用的动词过去式的单词。并找出文章中一般过去时的关键判断词,如last weekend等。本单元分四课时进行教学。?
第一课时词汇大练兵 ,主要任务是本单元所有词汇的识记及运用。初步接触一般过去时态的简单句型,让学生对一般过去时态有初步了解。让学生尝试着进行对话练习.教师在学生对话练习时发现其中的问题给予解决,培养学生的观察能力和思考能力及自学能力,教师在旁协助给予一定的辅助.从而达到本环节的初步认知一般过去时态的目的。
第二课时深入了解,探究一般过去时态。前两节主要针对的就是听,说.引导学生进行主语单三及复数的对话练习,观察动词的变换.尝试pair work。完成2a,2b的听力任务对2c中的对话进行整合练习,一般过去时的句型变换,否定句和一般疑问句的变换方法.否定句与一般疑问句各出示一组例句.小组合作探究观察思考各自的特点并找规律. 比照例句仿造句子,学生不但要学会用英语相互询问周末活动并回答,还要对周末活动进行评价。
第三课时主要就是针对读与写—阅读及写作。这一环节中的表演是学生主动运用语言的舞台,学生以此复习巩固旧知识的同时也为接下来的新课做准备,而老师则在学生的表演当中考察学生对本单元基本句型和时态的掌握情况。
第四课时综合运用,在本课时中融合所学过的三种时态,让学生找出三种时态的不同用法及句型构成,使学生能更好的掌握三种时态的运用。课本中3b的短文填空很好地将本单元的一般过去时这一语言知识和谈论过去的活动这一语言目标结合起来,因此利用该篇短文来综合复习语言知识以达到本单元的知识目标,又将其作为作文仿写的良好范本以充分发展学生写的技能。

课后反思:
在教学目标中增加“运用目标”。其实在家庭作业中布置了一个很好的运用任务的作业:请学生“用本节课所学的语法,单词,及总结部分提到的内容,描述一下你的上个周末,50左右。”应该在启动环节之后能先告诉学生这一目标(即:交代运用任务),学生的学习目标会更明确,运用任务会完成得更好。
2、“词汇学习”这个环节能改成有语境的语句或语段效果会更好,让学生在具体语境中去完成。
3、这节课的容量有点大,学生在复述环节还有点欠缺。

(设计意图:在课程的一开始设置的是一般过去时态“What did you do yesterday?? I went to the movies.”展示出本节课的重点句式,学生对一般过去时态的构成有一个初步印象,使学生在轻松愉快的环节中进入课堂角色学习,作为对前面课时的复习。以此创设目标语言的运用环境,也为接下来Section B2a的练习做一个热身。这一环节中是学生主动运用语言的舞台,学生以此复习巩固旧知识的同时也为接下来的新课做准备。)
Step 2? Presentation
展示出本节课的重点单词,短语,学生对一般过去时态的构成有一个初步印象,紧接着出示几个常见的动词词组,动词的过去式特别的展示一下,引起学生的注意,之后进行pair work。
(设计意图:教师在学生对话练习时发现其中的问题给予解决,培养学生的观察能力和思考能力及自学能力,教师在旁协助给予一定的辅助.从而达到本环节的初步认知一般过去时态的目的,为学习后面的阅读做好铺垫。)
Step3. Fast reading
让学生默读短文,匹配图片。
(设计意图:阅读文章,体会含义。让学生阅读所给蓝本内容,讨论文中故事所发生的时间,引出一般过去时的概念,?在学生初步了解一般过去时态之后,让学生体会一般过去时的运用。)
