本课时围绕“问路、指路”这一话题展开,使学生学会用there be表达存在,该话题学生感兴趣,并有话可说,在问路、指路的对话练习中熟悉多个方位词的用法、多个建筑物名称。通过学习学会问路、指路,介绍建筑物之间的位置关系、向别人介绍自己居住的社区周围的建筑,并能利用地图准确地寻找某一建筑物的位置。

本节课的话题是询问和告诉别人建筑物的位置,主要学习一些建筑物的名称以及there be结构的一般疑问句和回答,同时学会一些方位词的使用。
从传统英语课的角度来看,在学生充分预习的基础上基本上达到了本节课的学习目标,也突出了本节课的重点,学习了关于建筑物的名称,相关方位介词,there be结构的一般疑问句和回答,教师也起到了引导的作用。
有待改进的方面颇多,首先课时设计内容颇多,环节齐全,但各个环节完成较仓促,致使学生自主探究时间较少。
第二,未能较到位的突破难点,各环节时间把握欠合理,出现前松后紧现象。
第三,课堂驾驭能力有待提高,有些环节过渡生硬,课堂评语单调,不灵活。
第四,在语法展示环节,there be用法强调不够,考虑过于简单,流于形式,这让我体会到老师及时点拨和强调很重要,老师导的作用恰恰体现在这里。
